How is it not accurate. Deaths are trending up by their own charts. And if you only look at number of cases over the last 2 weeks the cases are trending down due to a spike in April (Easter spike), but if you look at the cases over the last 90 days they haven't dropped below February and...
There is nothing in the statistics that mentions immune compromised, and the daily number of new cases or the daily number of deaths has remained unchanged since before they started vaccinating in my state. The only thing that has changed is the number of Covid patients that are being...
Tell that to the 183 people hospitalized and 56 people that have died from Covid in my stateafter being fully vaccinated a minimum of 14 days before testing positive and no positive test in the prior 45 days.
That 56 is just a hair below 1% of the Covid deaths since January 1, and they post the...
As of right now in my state 1% of the Covid deaths since January 1 have been fully vaccinated post 14 days without a positive test in the 45 days prior. CDC is only tracking fully vaccinated that are hospitalized or die from covid. No number of total breakthrough cases.
Just need to keep in mind that the mask only results in a slight decrease in the number of cases, and the vaccine will not prevent you from getting, spreading, being hospitalized or dying from Covid.
It occurs when the one axle goes up over uneven terrain and the other axle falls into a low area, humps in the road, or pot holes, which allows the equalizer to move enough to allow the shackle to flip.
Ball threaded into wood which is split, doesn't go all the way through the 2x2, carriage bolt holding the wood into the hitch. receiver looks new. Looks like a Texas knee knocker.
Going to need a fair amount of soapy water and patience. A leak that slow will be hard to detect and will look like a small cluster of very small bubbles.
It isn't so much a too small fuel filter because I am sure the filter that is being used on the Kawasaki engines from the factories has enough volume. the problem is that filter can't pass enough fuel while operating under a slight vacuum due to emissions control devices.
Was just talking to my trailer dealer yesterday checking on my nephews trailer that he has on order. Asked about the 2 inch ball on tandem axle trailers, and was told that all two axle trailers over 12 foot are supposed to be 2 5/16 and the 2 inch 8K receiver trailers are supposed to be limited...
@Bob_Bainbridge there were issues with the early command 25 and blown head gaskets due to thin material between the cylinder wall and the push rod cavity. An updated head gasket kit was utilized that had a fire ring around the cylinder walls and that seems to have mostly stopped the issues...
@RickB There are a few still around but my area was covered with Sikeston MO 16 foot landscape style angle iron frame no gate, no ramp 2 idler axle, used car tire trailers direct from the factory for $900.
It's not but I am sure they will get caught up in a legal mess one of these days over the underrated hitches. Most of the 5K hitches on 7K trailers that I have seen in the past also didn't have trailer brakes, so at least in my state are limited to 3K plates, but then still get loaded up to or...
People have been found at fault and had insurance denied in death lawsuits. and several million dollar judgment again them for little infractions like a 6K ball towing a trailer rated for 7K.
Retired couple was involved in a DUI red light runner in Indiana which killed the wife when the DUI...
There is enough blame to go around. Trailer manufacturers using hitches that are not rated for the capacity of the trailer they made, or not installed trailer axle brakes on 7K trailers even though they are required in every state. Which is funny because they derate single axle 3.5K trailers...
@RickB I am sure your isn't the only trailer that came out of the factory with a hitch rated for less than the trailer rating. and most of those didn't come with brakes either, so in some cases can't be licensed for over 3K.
Checked a couple of the websites for my local farm stores. And not a single 2 inch balled rated for over 8K unless part of a larger assembly, with several in the 6K range and more than a few in the 3.5K size. There are a lot of 2 axle 7K rated trailers being towed with 5K or less rated balls.
Unless you have been a dealer don't go there. Dealers can and will get burned by manufacturers over warranty and repairs. Some companies require all warranty work to be pre-approved with an authorization number and in some cases the dealer will get warranty claim denied after authorization.
@5030 I think the disconnect is people expect that when they purchase a new several thousand dollar item it should be perfect when it arrives and in reality should be perfect. But the truth is sometimes things don't go perfect and most people just except that things will go wrong. And they...
Yesterday I was grinding a stump next to a road with utility locate done and were about 3 feet from any marked locations. Problem was at the same time they were horizontal boring and pulling a new fiber optic cable directly under one of the stumps that we were grinding.
Looks like battery replacement not currently available. We discussed the Troybilt 30 inch version about 3 years ago in one of my update seminars, and at that time the replacement battery for it was $1950 for the $2500 mower.
Looks like the service bulletin that listed the specific models has been removed from the Briggs dealer site. I remember is was close to 20 years ago so something may of changed or they listed it is the specific service manual for that engine. I just remember saying to myself I will have to...
And part of that is their own fault. Killing off 2/3 of their dealers without even notifying the dealers. Finding out after the fact they can't file warranty on products that they sold. In 2015 I had 5 dealers under the Dolmar name within a 25 mile radius of me, and Makita reduced that to 1...
I have filed warranty claims for handheld battery powered products for different replacement unit or full refunds to customers because the battery packs were no longer available within 1 year of production of the product.
@jgayman I to have used an oil sucker for most oil changes at the shop. Doesn't work with the Kohler command engines due to a lip that prevents you from reaching the bottom of the oil pan on the vertical engines. And small engine oil filters are anti drainback so adding some oil to the...
I have a side cut out of a quart oil bottle that I use as a funnel to catch the oil coming out of the filter to prevent what you are experiencing with the oil mess. And you need to prefill the oil filter before installing it. If they filter is empty when installed take 3 seconds for the oil to...
JD is the one making the news, but outside of the auto industry everybody has their own proprietory software and connection cables. IH, Kubota, Cat, Briggs, Kohler, Honda, Kawasaki, Husqvarna, Stihl, MTD
Was working on a Z125 a couple weeks ago with start issues and that seat switch has four wires and 3 of them are hot in the crank position. The seat switch isn't a direct path for the safety system, but is wired into relay trigger circuit,
@Richard001 I think that is serious dirt buildup. To me the leak is to the right on the clean spot. A constant oil leak will keep all the dirt off of that area causing a clean oil trail.
If you find that the gasket between the motor front of transmission is leaking you will need to remove the tranny and remove the plate that the motor is mounted to at the same time. There is a gear held on by a hog ring on the end of the shaft of the pump and if the motor is separated from the...
One of the companies that I do warranty for just updated their warranty program to allow upload of pictures to assist warranty claims. Up to 10 pictures of 10 MB each.
Not likely too long. Maybe OEM parts diagram has wrong part number which can be fun to sort out sometimes. And use of non OEM belts on MTD tend to not last long due to specific belt width and cut that are not standard belt widths.
Something is definitely moving. Are the drive wheels bowing in at the top. I am wondering if some frame support isn't broken allowing the drives to bow in at the top changing the distance between the pulleys making the drive belt too long.
My second guess would be the grooves in the pulleys...
Richard that is a fair deal on a complete engine. To Foxgap1 you can drop $1500+ into a proper rebuild. and it looks like JD doesn't even offer a complete engine just short block only and when logged into my JD dealer account tells me to call dealer for pricing.
A few months ago I was at a Auto parts store that is also the regional distributor for Mopar and they had a quart of Mopar transmission fluid on the counter and it said right on the bottle to shake before using.
@PM Wells if you have to remove the front plate pump let me know and I can give you more insight into how to remove the correct bolts to keep the two pieces together until on the work bench.
The differential seal requires tranny drop. Can replace the direction input shaft o rings without dropping with patience.
If you find the front gaskets leaking need to remove the pump and front cover as one unit otherwise the pump coming off of the mounting plate will drop the pinion gear...
I think the normal level is above the seal but I would pull the seal and install the new one while a small amount leaks out and then top off the level. I don't remember it being a large leak with the seal out. Just seeps out.
Been awhile since I did one, but if I Remember correctly I removed the fenders, both rear tires. Tilted the fuel tank out of the way so I could get to the drive shaft bolts and the two hydraulic lines, Disconnected the hydro pedal linkage pin located on right side in front of rear tire, and the...
The good post or what is called the like button on lawnmowerforum works great, hasn't been abused and helps prevent quotes with I agree with so and so.
It is official Briggs has filed for bankruptcy in the Eastern district of Missouri court today. A lot of people say the writing on the wall months or even years ago.
Briggs & Stratton files for bankruptcy protection
Is anybody else getting a invalid security certificate warning at Lawnworld/lawnmowerforum. I can't get to the site Tried different browsers also so it isn't just one browser issue.
Anybody know what is going on at lawnworld / lawnmowerforum. I keep getting a 502 bad gateway error when I go to that site. I would say this is directed more toward mahammed than anybody else, but other people could be having the same problem.
Actually simplicity owned snapper, derby, ferris, and the allis chalmers line of lawnmowers. Then Briggs purchased Simplicity, which brought all the lines on board. Derby and the AC is now gone.
Have to click through something that looks like wir_uvs2_dis_boardwalk150c_49_728x90_na_na_1 when I hit my browsers back button. How do I get rid of it.
Just wondering how you connect the one way cylinders for say a batwing mower to a Kioti tractor that has two way hydraulics only without a float position without deadheading the pump.
Had an interesting lawnmower problem come into the shop today. Kept blowing fuses. Owner claims he started it about two days ago and no problems, and this time he hit the key and it blew the 20A fuse to the whole mower.
Put a new fuse in and unplugged everything to try to isolate the short...
I have a 2011 Ram 1500 with the integrated brake controller that locks the trailer brake when you apply the vehicle brakes. Brakes work properly when the manual switch is applied. The trailer brakes are properly adjusted and the Gain is set at 0.0. Trailer works with nephews 2008 F250 with...
I have a lot of problems with picking up rocks on gravel roads that break the side marker lights on my trailer. Had my new trailer three weeks, and already broke one. Only pulled it about 200 miles so far. My old trailer also had the same lights. Put all new lights on my old trailer last...
I have a 2005 DK45S that secreted a small amount 3-4 drops of an oilly substance from the clutch housing when you remove the drain plug at the normal service intervals. it doesn's smell like engine or hydraulic oil. Kind of resembles a reddish 90 weight gear lube and has somewhat of a stale...
Found a old 4 row cultivator that looks like it may be in good shape, but wondering about what it weights. That way I know if I can lift it with my kioti DK45S.
I am looking for the ignition switch plug for the murray 92556ma or ayp 140301 switch. It is the connector with 1 terminal on top, 2 in the middle, and 3 on bottom. The only connector i am finding is for the delta plastic switch. I need the connector for the indak switch.
Has anyone else had there rear couplers stick in the detent position.
when i first noticed the problem it wouldn't go into detent, then when it did I had to go through the back of the tractor and hit the linkage with a 2 by 4 to dislodge it from the detent position. Dealer is supposed to...
