    I use axle straps on and chains with a total of two binders has worked great for me hauling my tractor to jobs for thousands of miles in the last 4 years.

    I usually deep clean my tractor twice a year, spring and fall. Before mowing seasons and after mowing season. And the only wax I use is Honda Polish that I use on all my motorcycles, it is a spray on and wipe quick detailer and helps with UV fading etc.

    If I were you I'd opt for the same sized T474 with the Kukje engine. Absolutely a jewel of an engine and simplistic. IDI with mechanical fuel pump, no ECU on it other than the one running the exhaust valve for when a regen is requested (I'm at 478h without a regen to date).

    I have a 2020 Suzuki KQ750 I bought after my 2009 KQ500 got squashed by a tree from high wind event. I haven't put many miles nor hours on it since, but it's a nice tool to have during spring cleanup of the yard and other chores needed. I still have less than 330 miles on it I think.

    I drive through 18'' of snow with my small TYM T474 with no issues and my 68'' MK Martin pull type blower. I added some magnetic inside mirrors to help keep track of the turret instead of adding electronic devices. I work in IT and has become more simplistic the older I get.

    You're using it wrong then. You can't be lazy, you've gotta stay on top of removing snow. It's not for breaking new ground or if you deal with drifts. Each piece of equipment has it's place. Here i am using the piss out of mine.

    The 5835r is a TYM legacy carryover from Branson, and almost a tad bigger. It will outspec the 494 in lifting capacities, but only comes with ROPS if cab was in the horizon for you.

    On the exhaust manifold, there is a little square plug you can unbolt if tractor refuses to start due to plugged filter. This is a help to diagnose if the filter is plugged. Then you can accidentally "drop" the filter 😬

    Friday we had -37F, we lost water for a day but rectified that problem quickly. Even this morning it was -30F, it beat last years cold of -33F. I'm working on getting a pan heater for my HST so the fluids are little warmer each time I use the block heater.

    On another note, I sold my Duo239 H-pattern chains and have some Aqualine MPC's arriving Thursday. The Duo's just didn't do it for me, and the square in the center of the "H" clumped up to a huge snowball in snowman weather a few times making the ride VERy unpleasent.

    If you're a big fella, I'd recommend the T494/574 or the 5520 for ya if your $$$ can stretch to that size? It will be worth it and no regrets to have proper size accomodation. For me the T474 is fine as I'm only 5'7''.

    For forested areas my T474 is pretty nice, last weekend I was into the woods with my cab tractor and forestry winch. But you'll have to determine yourself how big you want to go? I'd say a Legacy model 4820 would be a nice choice.

    That's my experience too, I tried the HB quick hitch using the cat2-->cat1 bushings. It was all money wasted IMHO, now I'm faster without it. I think Pats Quick hitch is the more practical solution if one desires a quicker hook up time?

    I was too far invested getting things together, I just had the fuel tank left when I saw it butted up against it. I've had people later tell me even after the dealer installed this kit, the bolts touched the fuel tank and they had to take it off and grind the bolts to correct the problem.

    I made a video on dual remote install on the T353,394,474 chassis here earlier this fall. On the PTO lever thing, hold your left hand ready to go on the lever as you engange the RED PTO button with right hand. It will click in place as the PTO starts turning.......doing this from idle off course.
