The stock rears are a true 10" and stuck out the same. The Carnivores are 10 but really 9" the offset makes them stick out the same. The stock fronts were 9" but really 7.5"

I never thought much about the mathematics of the situation. I just throw a suitable size implement on the back and go lift s**t. Dave

I have not noticed any difference in power, but I only had the stock on for a couple of short rides. Traction is much improved as well as ground clearance.

I have noticed the Mule Pro-MX leans to one side. Seems to be a common problem.

I had one and it too did not steer well. I believe it was a bearing in the center of the axle. I never was able to find one to fix it.

Took my new toy out for the first time today. I stumbled on this Buck that had met his demise. He was probably wounded, and the coyotes got him.

Took her for a spin today. I found Skully and thought I grab a shot with him. Looks like the coyotes got him.

I'm sure there are idiosyncrasies. Kawasaki has a good reputation. I had their dirt bikes, and they were fantastic. I'm also a great fan of Yamaha.

Anything can break. You can spend an eternity looking for the bulletproof machine. They don't make one. Buy what will serve you well. Take care of it, and it will take care of you. Life is about choices, make the best one you can.

I use chains on my Kubota when I dress her all up for winter. I find taking the wheels off and using the work bench works for the small stuff. I don't bend the way I used to. My JD 4320 works fine without chains, but I don't have a steep driveway.

Actually it usually dumps on us south of Buffalo. It missed me by 5 miles.

For the big jobs I use my JD4320. It has a loader and snowblower and I never need chains. However, I like to use the Kubota BX2680 for the lighter stuff. I have chains all the way around, and that little tractor is a tiny beast due to the traction the chains give her.

I'm done mowing for the year. I love it for a while, but it becomes a chore half way through summer. Today I converted the BX2680 to a snow warrior. Dropped the mower, put on the chains, wheel weights, rops, and the plow. This too will become a chore sooner than later.

Was putting the wheels back on the Kubota when the Shoulder Mechanic shows up. I'm not a cat guy, but this toothless kitty was eating crickets when I found her. I could not turn my back. Now she is glued to me.

I don't own a torque wrench. I've been doing it by feel for 40 years and never had a problem. I guess some folk can get a bit overzealous and start breaking stuff.

While I suppose that some more delicate parts of a machine call for a torque wrench, wheel and loader nuts will be fine with what I have done all my life. Use a standard hand wrench and the T4tight principle.

You would think for what you have to pay, whether it be a small tractor or a very large tractor, that the comfort of the operator would be a high priority. Nobody should have to shell out hundreds of dollars so that their new machine won't hurt them.

Same situation on my Kubota BX2680. The seat was good, but the way they attach it pounds your spine into jelly. I wound up getting a Grammer suspension seat. It was very pricey, but my back is never sore the next day...
