It is about 32f here at 4:40am, just went out and activated glow plugs, light stayed on about 13 seconds. Mine is a 2008.

My CT235 will crank first turn in 25 degree weather after holding glow plugs till light goes out. I had 2251 hours last oil change. Something not right with yours. If getting a good spin with starter I would check and make sure glow plugs are working.

I would feel very confident the one Hoyes shows will be a good fit for you. Too fine a mesh in the hydraulic filters can cause premature plugging. You can have confidence in the one they sale having the right internals.

I can tell you what it is on a 3T80U-N. Stages of 29, 58, 72-79 ft lbs. Cylinder head assist bolts 22 ft lbs. Rocker arm support nuts 40 ft lbs.

Wouldn't be simple to replace the ones in that pump housing. I suppose that might help with assurance of no leak at those lines but that would sure get expensive. I hate being a parts changer. May have to be.

Sorry for not updating, I did receive my endoscope but I was unable to find the source of the leak. I use my tractor to much in the summer time to warrant taking it apart. I am just going to add fluid as needed, at least thru the summer and fall. Come winter we will see how it goes. I am leery...

Harbor Freight has both Metric and inch o-ring kits. They do come in handy but I can tell you years of experience has proven there are lot's of applications these kits will not supply.

the F or FX24D is not a normally sleeved engine.

Could be, I think there are several identical relays on your tractor, might try swapping them out for testing. Does it die immediately when the key is released from the crank position? Have you checked fuses?

I too have the CT235, bought it used with 1300 hours, now has 2200, still running strong. Changed loader cylinder seals, set valves on it once, change filters and fluids as specked out. It is a work horse.

I believe your fill point in on top of the 3 point rock shaft housing right behind the seat. I would suspect their would be a dipstick somewhere on the back, probably down lower. Or possibly a sight glass back there.

By checking the driveshaft you can eliminate transmission drop box and driveshaft. I believe tractorernie was suggesting you need to assure power is actually getting to your front axle.

Yes, sleeves are nice. Also interesting your 2610 and the 2500 have a version of the 3t80 engine. Those suffixes on engine model numbers have a lot of meaning, including hp differences.

It is interesting that the 3t80-J engine used in the John Deere 850 is a sleeved engine but the 3t80U-NA engine you show is a non sleeved engine.

Maybe just a bad sending unit. My CT235 pegs out when I turn the lights on, never figured out why. I just don't worry about it and other than sometimes loading it in the dark I never use the lights. If your temp gun is not indicating overheating when the gauge pegs out then no worry but I'm sure...

About a 300 rpm speed is needed for compression check. A good starter and battery should provide that. Probably did but might pull all three injectors while checking one cylinder at a time.

Some of the models do have a red light that comes on and goes off after a period of time. My old 2002D had that but it quit after a period of time. Thermostart sill worked. Red light to the left of switch. Also notice the little light for the work area.
