John Deere 5310 adjusting sway bar/ stabilizer chains help

If chains were as tight as they can go, why would they sway? Something doesn’t make sense. Are you out of thread on the “turn buckle”? And out of thread at both ends of threaded rod? Did you adjust them when on a side hill, maybe chain was tight because bush hog was pulling on it? I like to a...

Yep, I got some trailer wire that seems same gauge and stranded. Every patch needs 4 good terminations. That adds up. Only have the two wires to the light switch patched so far. On the panel’s cable I can match the 8 broken wires colors to their counter part. But the panel side has 10 broken...

    Driving ground rod with bucket?

This pictures shows the "normal" path that "shock" current takes in its LOOP from the fencer's "hot terminal" to it's "earth terminal". Using earth for a major part of the loop circuit. When the ground is dry and a poor conductor (with high resistance) the current is reduced. Now imagine if...

    Gear Range Selector Issues

Roll pin: The black pin that is pointed towards the camera in the middle-left side of your picture. The pin looks like it goes through a hole that is in the bottom of the shifting lever arm, where the arm slides over the horizontal shaft.

    Actual weight?

Loaded tires or weights? There's also 10 gallons of hydraulic oil to consider. And coolant. A Branson BL25R loader with bucket weighs about 1160 pounds (pg. 14) I suspect that if you're splitting hairs this fine, I'm guessing it's probably not about safety as much as legality. :confused3:

"On October 29, 1971, while the band was on a break from touring and recording, Allman was riding his Harley-Davidson Sportster motorcycle at high speed on Hillcrest Avenue, in the western part of Macon. As he approached...

Pintle hitch to receiver hitch adapter

I've just unbolted the "pin hitch brackets" that come with garden trailers (and leaf sweeps, etc..) (like in photo) and bolted on a 2" ball coupler in its place. Sometimes the bolt holes align on the trailer tongue, other times I've had to drill one new hole.

Don't change transmission oil? One and done?

Re: Don't change transmission oil? I assume it's at the bottom of the reservoir tank? Other than disconnecting the hose that connects it to the transmission, draining it, removing the tank and flipping it upside down, will one of those flexible "reach claws" grab it?
