I think a big bolt with a washer in the 30 mm pin hole would be good when using it without the loader attached. You need to use the loader pin or a bolt without the loader it is not designed to be used to have nothing in the 30 mm hole. That's would not be safe with the FL 1805.

You can still put the FEL pin in even with the FEL off. If you do not want to do that a big bolt nut and washer would work. That hole is 30mm.

They are three pieces. The one for new tractors is a little easier to install because it using existing nuts that are welded into the frame at the factory. Version 1 for older tractors we are now including a finger wrench to help start the top two nuts.

I am going to build a 5' rock rake with one-inch tines. What should the distance be between the tines? Looking at pictures of rock rakes it looks like maybe 1" it is hard to tell from a picture. I found some post that suggested 1.25" spacing. That sounds good for the rocks I need to picked up.

A root ripper gives you a lot of power at a single point and digs up less dirt. These are smaller than you are digging. Bigger stumps you have to start farther out and work your way in closer.

I did a small change on the pin I take out on my QC. I welded a flag on it so you can get ahold of it to pull it out. I know the pin steel is not good for welding but this is not structural at all.

I slayed my first root. It was actually getting dark so I only did a very quick test. I did dig a few scoops with my backhoe just to test to quick attach. Then I swapped it for the root ripper. The swap only took a couple minutes.

I made two pins so far. These pins are just a tiny bit bigger. They fit but I need to adjust my quick connector a little. I think I will chamfer the outside edges like the factory ones. I think that would help some.

Thanks so much for the advice. I just picked up 3 foot 1144 TGP $39 OTD. My local place only caries TGP but that will work for me. I will have to cut it and drill it for pins. This is enough where I can leave one pin in each backhoe attachment.
