    The critical factor is the angle of the bucket when back dragging. My loader manufacturer, KMW, states: maximum angle of 15 degrees. I've never understood why people back drag with the wheels off the ground.

    When this happened to me, I didn't have a ratchet strap. I just wrapped a couple turns of rope around it, inserted a tire iron, and twisted it to tighten the tire enough to hold it against the bead. It works very well.

    It sounds as if your glow plug timer/relay has failed. Is the glow plug light on the dash coming on when you turn the key to activate it? This has been a common problem on the 15 series, not sure about the 16 series, but platforms are similar.
