This is not mine... it is also NOT SSQA. You have to manually put the bottom pin in... but still "quick". It's pretty expensive since Messick sells it new for $240... Can't seem to find which model it is for... :anyone:
Kubota quick hitch - farm & garden - by owner - sale

So kind of new to food plots... I had a tiller but my PTO cams would slip with it so I sold the tiller (instead of repairing the cams). In the trade I got a plow. Plan was (and no, I don't know what I'm doing) plow half then disk everything to see if plowing did anything useful...
Not much to it, I have it broken down into three parts. The boom, the pump and strainer, and the tank with the regulator. I mainly have it in 3 parts for easy cleaning but also for storage. The platform it sits on was part of a detachable carry-all that I built years ago. The tank came from...
After 10 years my road to the creek needed a little TLC. The inside ditch filled up and the water was cutting into the road bed. I didn't take any before photos because I didn't have time. :hissyfit:
I had put this project off thinking it was going to be a PITA. I loaned out a rear blade...
We have a new house at the farm, with new electrical service, 200 amp. Our problem is we "pop"/trip GFCI breakers like there is no tomorrow (4-5 of them, 2-3 times a weekend). They are not over loaded, in fact rarely is anything actually "On" those circuits when they trip.
We are getting an...
just a game, Which tractor would win in a pulling contest, a L2501 with Ag/R1 tires or L3901 with R4 tires on Grass (or even gravel). Tractors weigh the same... On Pavement, yes, the L3901 would win.
What's your guess as to who would win?
So no "finished" photos, yet... will get them in a couple weeks. Too darn tired to pick the camera up. I should wait for the final photos but have so many other projects that never get posted to TBN... So, the first photo, at the bottom, I put the two biggest rocks. The one shown is laying...
Not sure if this will work but I see "good" deals in my area that would sell up north (or else where). I AM NOT affiliated with this at all... This looks brand new for $1250:
Skid Steer hydraulic blade heavy duty
I wonder if this hose should go over this "bump" (see orange arrow in photo). This leak just started and dripped pretty constant, left a small pool. Only leaked when the tractor was running!!! Just a heads up.
I tried to push the hose on more but it would not move. I tighten down the clamp...
Anyone else going to it??? Today til Friday February 1-3, 2017 Southern Farm Show
I'll post photos later tonight... it was fun, every tractor maker was there... Will most likely go to it again before it closes.
Was doing maintenance to my L2800 HST, Hydraulic oil, filters, air and fuel filter and notice my seat suspension wasn't lined up. Bolt was broken... Problem shown in first photo, finger on the problem, h2nd photo. 3rd and 4th seems the "rod" was not all there... Pulled rod out in photo #5. In...
I was actually heading back to the house to sharpen the blades under my mower deck when the tail wheel slammed to the ground. Glad I'm not having to post this in the safety forum (no one ever looks there!!).
So, is this just a matter of unscrewing the top and removing in order until I get to...
OK, I'm jealous now... If I win the lottery, I plan to buy both snow blower and logging winch and use it about as much as my chipper/shredder (which is not much)!!! Good luck...

If that link doesn't work, look at the top ot the page, "Classifieds", next page on the left 2nd from bottom "post ad"... I don't care for the new system...
Need some quick help. I need to turn this 20' old fire escape ladder into a 20' bridge to hold up a 180 pound graduate student. The "brackets" were used to hold it to the building. I was hoping to either use a 20 foot flat stock and bolt it to it (#1). ...or (#2) I can use 1/4" angle iron or...
Was chipping up some white pine branches... smelled a little burnt hydraulic fluid when I moved forward a little. Didn't think much about it but I SHOULD HAVE checked! :mur: Ended up losing a few gallons... Don't know how much - heading out to buy more hydraulic fluid.
How much pressure...
Here's mine... it was his first Craig's list post. He had other things to sell, and I told him what he should list it for, pricewise.
Billion seeder
Link will die soon... I replied to his ad with " I'll give you $120"
Is this something I want to try? My local gas station has "high performance" diesel (49 cetane) - I looked on wikipedia, seems CA and some counties in TX requires it (??) Is this good for my tractor or will I burn it up? I have not looked at the price for it yet. I wouldn't mind paying a...
From another thread...
Got me a thinking; Light bulb time!!!! It's the same tractor does the NEW smooth valves from L3301 (et.al.) work in older models with a jerky hitch... Food for thought!! Last time I checked (long ago) these were $360. Need to look at the old valves...
I need to dig...
One other person mentioned it, too... yes, I know how to do it  it's just not loading up.
even tried a couple ways, from computer, from a url, manage attachments even...
First off... this was a simple and easy thing to build (ok really super simple compared to the rest of the stuff on TBN ;)) I wanted to build the step for a while that may protect the HST filter (a little).
I get on and off from the right side more than I should... the FEL joystick was a...
My brother is being sworn in tomorrow... Planning to go but having 2nd thoughts. Busy at work and $$$$ hotel cost - Only good thing is that it looks like rain so I wouldn't be able to do much at work anyway. Guess this does not happen everyday so I'll be looking forward to it but not dressing...
Congratulations Timber!!! Just "found" the post:
Member of the Month: Timber - TractorByNet.com
Very well written  and well thought out. I wish they would send out an e-mail note when they do these write-ups. I was looking to see if they updated the front page from 2.5 million...
Good morning to you guys... warm 32* checking in from Hope, Idaho!!! Ski trip, 2" first day, 12" yesterday... having a great time...
PS. enjoying a little coffee in my Bailey's!!!:licking:
I know this thread might not go anywhere... and it seems we've beat this horse before.
Hypothetically, *IF* you have a jerky hitch, how much would you be willing to pay to have your jerky hitch "fixed" (adjusted or replaced) on your L2800/L3200/L3400/L3700/L3800? Just wondering... is $500...
A few years ago I built a carryall that was easily detachable so I could drop off my tools and still use my tractor for other things. http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/build-yourself/108680-carryall-twist.html I've since made some changes to it, added feet and removed the wench since I never...
Wanted to redirect the down spouts to the side of the hill. I had to make several dozen passes to dig down enough... had to add extra weight and my middle buster has two sets of hole so I could drop it down an extra 6" (which is a good thing ;))
My boss was dogging me all day and checking up...
Had a close call, branch poked through the plastic guard... it's just a matter of time with a grapple so I decided it was time to beef up the front guard. Had some scrap mesh around... photos should tell the story, except maybe the one with straps that was use to adjust the guard so I can line...
What Loader does that fit??? 463, I hope...
Edit: I think it's Kubota LA723

I don't have a motor spool but would like to power a hydraulic motor using a spring to center spool with detent. I was planning to use the valve in detent with a needle valve to start and stop the motor (I don't mind if it's slow).
I would have the needle valve closed, put the valve into...
I'm asking for it, and would *REALLY* like to know if this is stupid :anyone:
I have an L2800 HST (I would NOT do this with a gear transmission!!!) - I use larger tractors that you don't have to use the clutch to start, why not my small one? If the hst pedal is depressed, it's not going to...
Wanted a new flat spot where we can park a friends camper. The area was mildly sloped so it didn't need much, about 2-3' fill at the low end. Used the tractor with a Box Blade, Rear Blade and finished off with the pulverizer yard tool (just for a seedbed). Used about 3 clock hours on the...
I was not going to post this mainly because I don't think kubota sell them anymore. Heavy Duty Top Links were to help support the tractor's top link when using a 3ph backhoe (before they had a sub-frame). kubota figured out that they had to have the sub-frame and this became obsolete.
I...
Just a note: "welding" and "snow removal" is missing from the drop down menu under "General Forums". Also, the Kubota section is missing the lawn and garden, John Deere is missing 3 others in their section and 2 are missing in the other brands section...
So I got the toplink from surplus center, description reads that the "Ports: 3/8" BSPP" but it also says that it "Ships with two 3/8" BSPPM to 3/8" NPTM connectors".
I never used BSPP... Don't know what it looks like but when I screw in what I think is BSPP into the lock valve...
I am wanting to know what it would be used for??? I think it would be take the place of a bungie cord to hold to valve open. I assume it's NOT to put the spool into float mode (I'm guessing it would have stated "Float" but I don't know for sure). Also, would this work for a hydraulic motor...
Any one planning to go?

(first time in a long time I went to the main forum page... Wow, there's a bunch of sub-forums  thought I would never have gotten to the Regional forums!)
There are many MANY links from Ebay that can help TBN that are NOT a scam... Like this one: Help identifying hydraulic fittings. JIC and ORB - Page 2 - TractorByNet.com
why kill all of them because of a few bad apples???
BTW, there's a link to ebay in that thread...
...and drinking a beer. Letting the wife have a turn or two... or a couple dozen!?!?! Computer, camera, chair and dog.... Thought I would post some progress as she goes...
This is for a MID-tractor mount!!! I would like to document what I did. It took me a LOT of reading at TBN to figure out how to get this done (thickheaded?), I hope to add to the pool of information here. (Fast forward to the end, It WORKS!!!) warning, my writing sucks, if you need...
Thanks for the help.... Grapple
Without you guys... this would not have happen... Thanks!!!
I'll do a complete writeup later but here are photos of the last two days of work... only a couple extra trips into town. :o
I hate photos of myself... but what the heck... this is the jacket that...
I'm thinking I'm going to install hydraulics with TFE... all it says is "Do not use on halogens..." I'm using Harvey's TFE paste which is good for 10,000 psi on use for water, steam, natural & LP gas, *OILS*, fuels & dilute acids. Do I have to use PTFE???
And just in case, What will happen...
I was looking at the Home page: "...Visit the world's largest tractor forums, with more than 1.9 million posts:" Need to bump that up a bit ;)
What is your best guess as to the line from PB block and going into the loader valve of an L2800. See photo. Also in the photo, on the side of the valve... there is a plug, I'm guess so you can plumb from the top or the side... Can I put a 5000 psi pressure gauge in that hole??
I have my...
First off, I have to give a BIG "THANK YOU" for all those that know your hydraulics and guide the rest us as we try and learn. Also, special "Thanks" for those who have travel down this road and documented it... Canoetrpr and StrangeRanger. I have read many threads and searched many hours, I'm...
I don't mind the ads, even the BIG ads... but when they start out as a big ad, then re-size down to small one, a few seconds later... it screws up where I was trying to read... I basically have to wait till it re-sizes before I can start to read. Just leave it BIG (or small) thanks... (I'm...
I knew it was going to happen to my L2800... I was just not sure when it was going to happen. Lucky for me, it broke at the very end of the wk/ed with my new (used) finish mower. I thought long and hard how to rig it up without buying a new cable... well, the 5 minutes did seem long enough...
I just "picked up" a used finishing mower... since I really actually *had* to pick it up since the 3ph on the guy's L3400 would not lift it. I looked up the weight, 588 lbs. It was out on a boompole. I have an L2800 with a boompole that lifts (quite often) a King Kutter II tiller at 690 lbs with...
Looking at buying a Tooth Bar from Markham Welding and since my tractor is 3 hours away... I need a couple of people to give me a measurement (hopefully they'll match each other :)?) It is a 2005 Kubota L2800 (same as L3400, too) This is what they have on their website... Markham Welding -...
...At the bottom of the pages??? Oh, and you should have a warning in the classifieds about tractor scams... since it's back again - the one for $4,400. 62 views at first, now 109...

My buddy who makes great sausage, gave me the recipe but left out one important step... after mixing the ingredients, I should have refrigerated it overnight. :o So I mixed it up and was excited to get it on the smoker. It's been smoking for 5 hours and has 1 to 3 hours left to do.
Since I did...
Let me first bow down when I ask for your help... Not sure if you have read this thread? (I'm sure you are tired of hearing about it ;))

If you have an understanding about hydraulics, could you shed some light on...
I have a 6' rear blade that I don't use and was going to try and turn it into a 7' Landscape Rake. Just bolt angle iron where the reversible blade goes. It will be pretty heavy, is that a good thing or should I make it lighter???
I would also like to hear what people think is the...
Been spending so much time read TBN, thought I would take some time and post a project... One of the first projects I did when I got the land was to make a road to get close to the creek. This past wk/ed, I extended the road down to the creek. The before photos did not really capture how steep...
I seem to be very tippy...:o I keep the bucket low and drive slow but I guess these CUTs are just this way. I was looking at a couple of things, including spacers for the rear tires, (1"x2 for $199:rolleyes::() (I have R4's) then looked at the front tires wondering... why so many holes? The...
I bent my Tie Rod and would like to fix it and not buy a new one. I have access to a press like the one attached and also could apply heat via propane torch. I never used a press (or a torch, for that matter :)).
I was going to leave the nut covering the threads on (to help keep it...
I want to lighten a Bale Spear, it weighed 250 lbs. I unbolted the old brackets and would like to weld new bottom brackets that will lower the overall weight by 100 lbs. As a side bonus, I can bring the hook up points 2 inches closer to the tractor (when you talk about a half ton, that adds...
First, I don't know much about BS (Bale Spears, did I get you?) ;)
I picked up a heavy duty one on Craig's list (Raleigh/$125 ). It was used for the 3PH but was too heavy for the guy. I was going to lighten the load and remove 100 lbs by welding new bottom brackets on it. In the process...
Built a carryall with a detachable base that can be winched back onto the carryall or it could be used as a dump bed. I wanted to be able to dump the carryall without unhooking the 3 point hitch. The detachable based of the carryall is 3' x 5' with a 2' back wall (~150#). I have a removable...

First off, I don't know what I'm doing but have fun trying to figure things out.
Secondly, I bought a Scotts S1642 lawn tractor (made by "JD") with transmission problems... granted, I've done stupider stuff. Thought I could fix this so, I opened the transmission to see what I could find...
Grapple Buckets - Universal Mounts
I don't know if this is "OK" to post but if you are in North Carolina and looking for a (skid steer) Grapple setup for what *might* be a good price. I do not know this person you will have to check it out for yourself... the price "looks" good (maybe too good?)
Thanks to all those that answer questions.... I'm looking at buying a Long Backhoe (not sure of model #, other than it's old), of course the price is right, $700. I'll test dig with it in the morning but it goes on a big (70hp, cat 2) JD. It has it's own PTO pump, but I wonder if my Kubota...
