R1 lug tires/Bridgestone/Firestone for the B2650. Never used. Heated garage kept. Got these a few years back thinking of doing some heavier work but it never panned out. Was going to keep them but they're just laying around taking up space. Locally Priced@ Front rim $274 front tire $188. Rear...

    Back dragging: how aggressive?

I've back dragged with the Pirannah tooth bar installed, front wheels off ground grading loosened dirt and stone, no problems, I just go slow. 500 hours

    Latest grab by auto manufactures

I've got a RAV4 that had the option to renew at $8.00 a month for using their app that uses remote start and some other features. I cancelled but can still use the remote start just have to push the fob key to do so. No bigs.

I hate grass raking! How can i avoid it? do i need a new tractor?

5 acres of grass. Mulching blades on a Scag 61" Zero turn with a 26 hp Kawi. No baffles. Cut it once a week. Takes 4 hours a pass going easy. Kubota too slow and heavy.

Can a propane tank be repurposed?

I use this. It hooks up to my JD riding mower. https://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200649533_200649533 Or maybe this one. https://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/product_200518864_200518864

How much will that tractor cost, the true price of ownership.

You can also figure in how much money is saved by doing jobs ourselves vs hiring someone else. Apply that in the TCO and its a no brainer.

    Battery powered chainsaw

I've got the Stihl MS 220 C. I like it. Don't need earmuffs, works well enough. Easier to handle. Great for taking off limbs. For the bigger stuff or if I need to go at it all day, I'll use the gas powered Stihl MS 290.

Would a zero turn be faster than a B2601?

ZTR is better. It's lighter, faster, and more versatile. Coming from a MMM on an older kub, and a JD driving mower that I still have. 5 acres, hilly mixed terrain, lots trees. Scag 61" Kawi.

Snow Equipment Owning/Operating Cutting / Groving / Siping R-4 for snow

The compound of rubber is what makes a snow tire, a snow tire. Grooving is futile.

Brand new KIOTI dead on arrival

Brands don't matter. Green, Orange Blue, whatever. I had a bad tractor from the get go. No one cares. Pre Covid. Once they got your money, it's anyones game. Get your money back. Things change quick. Priority one. I had to write and call to corporate before they sent in a regional manager to...

Why did I buy this thing?

All tractors have problems. ALL OF THEM. I've got a kubota. Not thrilled about it. Lotsa stupid issues. LOTS. But when it works, it works and for that much I can say, I'm glad I can utilize the machine for its intended purpose. Even if the hdyro whines and screams at me every time I sit in it...

UDT2 Maintenance interval, time vs. hours

I waited till the 400 hour mark to swap the fluid and filters.. Fluid came out clear and slightly darker. No issues other than the mid pto case failing, as I thought it would. When I removed the bolt a coil of metal thread came along with it. I put the drain bolt back in but its loose fitting...

Tires 2018, 380 hour B2650 exhaust weld broke.

I'm 5 years in at 350 hours. Garage kept. Some rust forming. I was told you need to put 500 hours on these machines to "break em in" So basically all the weak points pop and snap till you hit the mark. It hardly seems reliable, but thats just the way things are made these days. I think...

UDT2 Maintenance interval, time vs. hours

Here is the report guys, I opted for the extra $10 tannin result, I'll call them to clarify that one, and I haven't taken the time to make a more precise interpretation but the notes say its good to go. I'll follow up with another comment on the results if I have anything worthwhile to share...

UDT2 Maintenance interval, time vs. hours

I mailed it out on 9/17 and looks like I'm having a delivery issue with USPS. I ordered another kit, will resample, and switch to UPS.

    3 point hitch simple question

The spline is covered with a rubber cap. Thank you. When I look in the fill hole, I see this. Is it a gear? Does it move? If so how do I engage it? If I can engage it, can I do so with the backhoe attached? I did see the "gear" move when I manually raised the hitch arms, but not by much. I was...

    3 point hitch simple question

I know it's a rookie question, but I have the bh77 backhoe attached on the back of my b2650. I don't have a reason to remove it and I haven't engaged it. Ever. I was just adding a bit of UDT2 oil to top it off and noticed the gears looked dry. It is clean and shiny, no rust at all, but I...

UDT2 Maintenance interval, time vs. hours

I'm at 350 hours, and the manual states to change the hydro fluid at 400. I barely used the tractor this year and can most likely get through the winter with using it just 50 hours for snow removal. Last time I changed the hydro fluid was 3 years ago. There is no, 4 years or 400 hour interval...

JD x394 vs x570 (four wheel power steering vs more power/longevity)

I recently lost the use of one arm for 6 months due to an accident. I was mowing with a zero turn before that I can't use until next year. I have 5 acres of grass on hilly, flat, and some rocky terrain, with close to 100 fruit trees I need to maneuver around. Some with cages to protect them...

Sudden stallout wont restart advice please

B2650 HSDC. Doing some backhoe work tearing out thorn bush roots and chugging along, in and out of cab, when I got back in the cab and it just stalled out. It wont turn over. Electric works. I'm not sure how to check for the safety switch under the seat, I just unplugged and replugged... can...

    Hydraulic hose repair kit

I have the LA534 Loader on the B2650. Just at the end of the season I noticed a leak just by the cylinder (see first photo.) I couldn't tell where it was coming from. Now that I'm preparing to reattach the FEL, I thought I would drop the pin on the cylinder and take a closer look so I could fix...

    B2775 hydraulic snow blade leak

It was an uneventful year with the 2650, which I was thankful for. We didn't have too bad a winter and I'm getting pretty good at swapping the snow blower and the blade back and forth when I need to. I start up the machine once a week and let it run for 15-20 minutes just to keep it in good...

    B2650 Mid PTO question

I am a relatively new owner of a B2650. My first post on this site. I frequent orange tractor talks, so I'm kinda cheating by asking advice here, so don't rat me out. I'm looking for some hard facts as I'm having a dispute with my dealer. I have contacted kubota corp. directly and...

    Snow  B2782B NOISE

Bought the B3350 and the B2782B for the upcoming season. I had one friend who owns 3 tractors take a look at the blower and he said it doesn't sound right, maybe the chain was too tight. I checked the gear box and lubed everything I could. I'm new to tractors and not very experienced when it...
