Yeah, that is one of teh things that really pissed us off. If they talked to us we would have tried to work with them. One neighbor is directly to my north, and the other is the next house over, so another couple hundred feet away.

We don't pile it indefinitely, we give it away and spread and we put out lots of fly traps to help keep the fly populations down. Flies aren't good for anyone - people or horses.

I have. It seems like its a pretty solid rod to a lever on a rod that goes into the hydrostat casing. I had speculated that maybe the rod loosened up internally and isn't moving the squash plate properly.
