L4310 Hydraulic leak with pics, discrepancy with parts diagram?

My local dealership is as confused as I am over this. For the L4310 4wd parts diagram the "Non-HST" hydraulic block shows a pipe with o-rings, but it is not a pipe with two bends in it like I have. It's all original paint on my tractor, so it is nothing that has been altered after the factory...

L4310 Hydraulic leak with pics, discrepancy with parts diagram?

I have a L4310 4wd HST Rops with around 2050 hours on it. In the last few weeks I noticed a small drip puddle on the floor under the right floorboard area. After some investigation the leak is coming from the hard tubing/piping interface with the hydraulic block. See picture #1, leak coming...

    L4310 Sloppy steering

Reporting back, I did exercise the steering full left, and then to full right. I repeated that 4-5 times. That did help! It greatly reduced the amount of free play in the steering. The weird thing I noticed now is that the brodie knob isn't in the same place for straight forward driving...

    L4310 Sloppy steering

I started noticing while driving, moving the steering wheel L/R and the front wheels not moving in either direction. About a 1/2 turn of the steering wheel before the front wheels would move. That's what got me to raise up the front end. With the front axle raised, I could grab the front tires...

true, but up on the jack I can see the tie rods AND pitman arm moving with tons of play, all as one.

    L4310 Sloppy steering

I have been doing a lot FEL work this past fall, and now noticing that the steering has become very loose. Like it takes 1/2 turn of the steering wheel before the wheels start moving in either direction. I don't feel any binding or difficulty in steering. I didn't have time to dig into it...

Rear blade for snow on gravel, pipe or rubber mat?

Lots of great ideas, thanks! With some "unevenness" to the gravel drive, I would think grader blade shoes would still have me shaving high points of gravel if not frozen. I guess I'm still leaning towards the steel pipe on the blade, or below the blade with welded tabs for mounting through...

Rear blade for snow on gravel, pipe or rubber mat?

Thanks for the input, I like the angle iron idea as well. I realize there will always be some gravel that gets into the grass, but with fresh driveway that was not packed at all, I had piles of it in the grass this spring. A lot of that was due to me not having the angle on the box blade...

Rear blade for snow on gravel, pipe or rubber mat?

This is a new construction house/driveway as of last November, so there wasn't a lot of pack-down before winter. After this spring of hours of raking and collecting gravel out of the grass, I'm not doing that again!

Rear blade for snow on gravel, pipe or rubber mat?

This will be our 2nd winter at our new place, I have about 100yd gravel driveway. I have a 6' box blade that I pushed snow backwards, that worked 'good enough' after trial/error with getting the right angle so as not to scrape a bunch of gravel. Obviously no angle to divert snow to the side...

    L4310 Steering Controller leak

I've had my used L4310 in my possession for just over 100 hours. It's got about 2000 hours on it now. Just recently I noticed a slow oil leak on the lower plastic cover below the steering wheel, just above the floor board. After removing the plastic covers, it looks like I have a slow leak...

Can you tell me what Gannon box model this is with non-hydraulic teeth?

Here it is getting it home last night and unstrapping from the trailer. I haven't weighed it, but it is hefty. Blade edges look almost new. Looks to be nicely made to me. Barely any paint worn off the bottom...

Can you tell me what Gannon box model this is with non-hydraulic teeth?

OK! Update, I did get a picture of the model tag. I've seen mention that people had not seen a Gannon box blade that did NOT have either hydraulic or manual rotating ripper bar. Well this one shows that is not the case, Model E-100-7S. 72" width, hinged back plate, non-rotating rippers. I can...

Can you tell me what Gannon box model this is with non-hydraulic teeth?

Looks to be a great shape Gannon 72" box blade locally for a great price. Wondering if someone can tell me the model of this unit from the pics?

L4310, add float function to FEL

Using the new-to-me L4310 this past weekend and I realized that this tractor's front end loader does not have the float function. Is that a control valve block that can be replaced to include the float function?

    Turf tires and disc harrow

After purchasing property last fall, I've been watching for used tractors every day. I wasn't desperate to buy one until summer, but recently could not pass up a nice deal on a Kubota L4310 HST with front end loader and box blade, low hours . The only thing wasn't crazy about is that it has...

MX5200 initial hyd fluid change, how important?

Re: MX5200 initial hyd fluid change? Just looked at the MX4800/5200/5800 manual online, initial change is 'MUST BE' completed at 50 hours. The little dual-circle indication is the 'must be completed' designation.

MX5200 initial hyd fluid change, how important?

Not in a huge hurry to buy something, but I'll need something come spring time for new/used tractor. I've been searching for a MX-series to pop up locally, and today a NICE looking MX5200 came up for sale. Has 126 hours on it. The person selling it is not the original owner, I guess someone...

Looking to buy in the spring, am I thinking about right?

I've seen several threads like this, but knowing each situation is a little different I thought I'd ask for some guidance on my situation. I don't own any tractor at the moment, but have spent years at our hunting club land (150 acres) working on an International 424, from the mid 1960's...
