I would love to give it to someone local but it's surprisingly harder and harder to find tractor parts. Even dealers here aren't carrying a large selection of parts.

The Apache was probably in the wrong package. It likely wasn't a 7241-A. It didn't work. I ordered a coupling set from Amazon and that 7241-A fit perfectly.

I will likely have to do that. I don't know if you guys are aware, but TSC is phasing out and has on clearance 1/4" and 3/8" couplers. An associate told me they'll no lomger carry anything but 1/2". Anyone else notice the local TSC has one small aisle of tractor parts?

Unfortunately they don't. Took a male coupler to the stores. TSC carries 3/8 Pioneer and CAL Ranch carries Apache in 7241-A. Neither 3/8 fit as the inlet in the female side is too large.

Have you checked the wiring under the seat? Mine was shorting out and I had to splice new wiring in and shield the wiring from rubbing on the seat frame.

That's strange. Mine was delivered with the shaft in place but my backhoe was also installed.

I have this model. You do not have to remove a rear wheel/tire. The 3 point bottom has a 2 piece shaft that slides out into the void created by the interior of the wheel. I can switch from backhoe to 3pt quick hitch in less than 10 minutes.

Right! Didn't cost me a thing except for some time. And after 2 weeks and 30 hours on the LS, I finished the landscaping in the front yard. Now to go till up the garden.

Spread 7 cu yards of gravel for my front yard xeriscape project. Then drove next door and helped the neighbors out by spreading 4 cu yards of topsoil.

Thanks for the idea. Just one rear kit. 3 point is directly off the pump. No problem with the loader. The flow control knob under the seat is halfway between fast and lock. I lifted the 3 point and turned the knob to off but there's no pressure or resistance. I've never used the 3 point before...

Good question. I don't see any damage to wiring harnesses. I don't feel like we overloaded anything. It was idling when it quit.

Yes, tried jumping it and no change. It won't even crank and the display is blank and will not light. I can't tell if this model has an ECM. It looks like it may. Does anyone know for sure?

Update: Checked everything I could. Every lever, switch, sensor, fluid level was checked. Battery connections were tight and showed 13.6 Volts on the multimeter. The dash display and none of the warning/idiot lights display except for the parking brake indicator does light and the parking brake...

The engine just stopped. It is full of brand new fuel. I'm heading out to check everything else now.
