It is a 12 spline shaft. Clockwise rotation. I looked at the MT4 pump and initial thoughts were it would work but the pressure line would have to be modified which is not hard to do.

They use CAT 1 on the tractor side and CAT 2 on the implement side. So your top link should be 3/4" for the tractor side pin and 1" at the implement side. Sounds like the factory may have put the wrong top link on but the dealership should be able to fix that pretty easy.

New or used? When you buy a new LS you get your choice of tires, R1, R3, R4. So if you want R4 the dealership can swap them out for no charge. Swapping out wheels and tires on your own will be cost prohibitive in that you will have more invested than it is worth.

I changed the "stem" to a curved style. With that you can adjust to a position that fits you better. You would also need a new knob more than likely as the factory one is not a screw on style.

Has anyone run into errors on the LS parts website? For example, the MT3 shows the wrong fuel filter and the wrong front axle. Anyone else run into similar errors with their parts search?

Have any of you noticed that the front axle on the MT3 does not have a vent? I could see the longevity of the axle seals being reduced. I ended up purchasing one from eBay that vents both ways, but since it's coming from England it may be a little bit before I see it.

I don't think that Wix HST filter will work. Pretty sure the thread is too small for the S-HST. The factory filter is a Donaldson P164381. You can probably go to the Wix site for a cross reference.

I used a small 18v shop vac and that was enough to create the vacuum and no fluid lost. The small hose holds itself on the filler neck.

Sounds like you have an issue with the timer relay circuit. As stated above your tractor has a glow plug relay/timer circuit and it should stay on for about ten seconds regardless of the temperature. If you are under warranty let the dealership replace the parts.

I just had this. Mine had the 3pt valve replaced. Whether it is the valve or the o-ring seals on the top of the valve, the rockshaft cover has to come off.

There is only one code with yellow or amber light with a code that ends in F00, and that is your DPF is full. Unless you are never working the tractor hard or you let it idle a lot, your Regen hours seem pretty often. I'd still have your dpf pressure sensor tested.

That sure is a strange one. I don't have a diagram for you but it presents itself like there is another controller in the system killing power to everything. Seems like there is a lot more electrical issues happening all of a sudden.

F00 is only part of the dashboard code. There should be a code above or below that one. Is the error light yellow or red? You could have a bad DPF pressure sensor depending on the code telling the computer it's full. Dealer would be your best bet because it should be under warranty.

Funny, my dealer gave me the wrong hydrostatic filter as well. He didn't seem to know that there were two choices depending on the hydrostatic transmission. Mine also gave me the older hydraulic filter as well as they must not have the newer one on hand.

Doesn't the OP's tractor combine hydrostatic with a gear transmission? Albeit in a less efficient manner than the current lineup of hydromechanical transmissions.

My old Boomer 40, XR3140, used to make that sound on start up. Lasted just a few seconds. To me it sounded like it was in the steering/hydro circuit but I never had an issue because of the noise. Fluid and filter change had no effect for mine.

Aluminum would be fine for your tractor. They have their aluminum spacers on bigger tractors than yours. Steel is a little more money but they would work as well.

R2 tires are a specialty tire for rice and sugar cane. They look similar to the R1 tire but you will see a difference. What you are describing sounds like a front rib tire for a 2wd tractor.

Here's a New Holland T.4 version. Most of the ones I've seen in the US are 75+ HP.

The US narrow frame tractors, for vineyards, have the mid-frame ROPS as well. Mainly because there isn't any room for rear ROPS.

If your hose runs to the intake than this should be your setup. Number 50 should be your valve. Parts list shows a couple superceded numbers.

Under that nut, should be an o-ring or sealing washer for the seal. At least that's my thought without looking up the parts diagram. It could also be leaking from above (cracked) and you are seeing where it collects.

Are you getting some stray voltage from the switch? Try unplugging the solenoid and starting the tractor, does the PTO still spin?

Don't thank me yet, because that is what New Holland dealership told me about my Boomer 40 (XR 3140). I need to look at the parts exploded view for the models to verify that.

What is the LS part numbers you need?

The front pivot is greasing a bushing inside the cap so not much clearance for grease and it won't take much. The seal there is an o-ring so probably wouldn't take much to push grease past it. Your rear pivot is lubricated by the differential oil.

I'd recommend having a pressure gauge hooked up as you make adjustments.

I'd say that the PTO solenoid valve is still sticking if the PTO won't fully shut off. Take the part number you are looking for, put MT in front of it, and call CNH to see if they have one.

Your first picture seems to be the culprit. Test that circuit with your PTO switch on/off and see if you have power.

The red color should be just a dye. It's used to make it easier to see on the dipstick and identify oil leaks from other oils. You can buy the dye and put it in yourself. It doesn't take much to treat 5 gallons.

Just keep in mind that there is no industry standard for hydraulic oil so that pail can say it is "recommended" for the space shuttle and they don't have to prove their claims. Motor oil has a standard but not these oils.

It is just like it sounds. Above your fuel filter is a small heater that would run during cold weather and it's purpose is to keep fuel from gelling.
