I destroyed the gearbox on my brush hog.... help

The OP said himself that a 1:94 ratio box was available for his cutter. Some people run a regular cutter on 1000 pto with the engine rpm low. A regular cutter behind an old gas tractor, with higher engine rpm than diesel, same difference. Those cut faster. I mean them old round hooded...

Grease guns get up to 3500 lbs of pressure. I had a D7 Cat and a grease gun is how you tighten the tracks. Just keep two wrenches handy and change hose ends. ALWAYS wear gloves. I've seen more than one fella in the hospital trying to save an arm because grease was shot under his skin on a...

You'll know you're close to tipping when the rear tire on the uphill side starts spinning. Provided you aren't in 4x4. Tilt meters only work on cranes. A tractor can be on so many different angles and it would be a different degree each time. Being 90° to the slope versus being angled...

Framing is framing. Birds mouth notches around top plate. Run sheathing to bottom of rafter. Cut 1 x 6 to go between rafter tails and lap over sheathing. So by what you're saying, put the finish on outside wall before you get it in the dry? Nope, never did that.

Why don't you just cut a six ft log and lay cross ways in front of trailer with a chain tied to center and run to rear. That and a push broom will clean your trailer every time. It will mostly clean that trailer out every time. It doesn't do too good with plain dirt.

    Engine oil in my Hydaulics

It only costs more because Kubota oil doesn't foam. Which doesn't matter on a tractor. Now, a skid steer with a mulcher and high flow hydraulics is a different story. It needs a non foaming fluid.

    20 Weight Hydraulic Oil

20W oil is compressor oil. Red oil is 10W and motor oil is 30W, if you have to have 20W, why can't you mix those two oils. That is exactly what they do to make it. They use hydraulic oil before it gets dyed red. I've always mixed, never bought 20W oil.
