    Battery Jump Packs

I didn't know where to ask this question so I just chose this forum. Is it possible to hook up a battery jump pack to a trickle charger? I don't use the two that I have very often and that means that when I have to use one it usually is not fully charged. So my question is can you attach the...

    Removing Front Tie Rod End

I have a L3940 4WD that has developed a small oil leak in the left front Bevel Gear Case. Has to be the "O" ring or the oil seal inside the case. The tie rod end has to be removed to get the Bevel Gear Case off. My question is about removing the tapered tie rod end and ball. Is there any way to...

    Timing Window

I finished the valve check on my L3940 today. All the valves were within tolerance. I didn't have to do any adjusting at all. The worst part of the job was getting everything out of the way so I could access the valves. I'm glad that this doesn't have to be done for another 800 hours.

jonsstihl, When I took the valve cover off of my L3940 the gasket stayed in place and didn't tear at all. But you never know what might happen. I also did the valve adjustment on my B2710 and that gasket was OK. Also I should mention that my L3940 glow plugs came out with no...
