    3-Point Hitch Hitch Pin Torque

I believe 400 ft # is too high for that size nut. Found 185 somewhere. Recently replaced one of my lift pins and used about 210 ft #. Checked the other one. It was slightly looser than this.

    2019 ford ranger review....

Had a 1994 Ranger 4 cylinder: worst pickup we've owned. Dodge Rampage and 1997 Tacoma were the best. The present 2005 Tacoma is okay, but neither of us like to drive it. The Ranger seemed to have all 4 wheels bolted to the frame, like no suspension. Fuel mileage on highway was worse than...

Lost left lift pin on bush hog

Apparently the nut on my left lift pin of the rotary cutter came off. Lost the lift pin. Attached are pictures. Have it on a Harbor Freight Quick Hitch. Think the quick hitch kept the left side from dropping all the way because its middle hook kept the middle up. Wasn't sure the two orange...

    Electric Riding Mowers

We've both a 40v self propelled mower and a ZT48e. Both are great. Haven't used the self propelled mower much after buying the ZT about 3 years ago. Don't know why you're mowing 7 acres. I'd just mow trails in it to enjoy it and bush hog it about once/yr. The ZT will do somewhere between 2...

Pros & Cons Kawasaki Mule SX vs Honda Pioneer 520

I went with a Kubota RTV 520. The one they had came with a heavy duty bumper in front and alloy wheels. The alloy wheels are kind of silly. Bought the Kubota because it's probably the only one with HST similar to what is on our tractors. Gives gobs of engine braking on the hills in L. Could...

Buying Advice 4' Rotary Cutter Suggestions / Opinions

    Diesel oil or not.

Could use it but change at 100 hours instead of 200 because of carbon buildup. Think this is the only difference between gas and diesel engine oil: more/special detergent to keep carbon in solution in diesel oil. Did it once on our 1983 240D Benz.

Why the poo doesnt kubota get on board with 5w40 or synthetics?

The 10w30 or 15w40 are minimum specs. O, 5w30 and 0,5,10w 40 are better and would meet warranty. As far as running a diesel at high rpm for many hours, VW diesels have done it. They spec and sell diesel rated 5w30 and is what I used on our VW TDI at 10k changes for nearly 7 years. VW have...

Horse manure as a good garden compost?.🤔🤔🤔

Check with people where you get your horse manure. Make sure they haven't used something like Grazeon herbicide (think that's the stuff) on their pastures. Stuff can last forever and will kill any plant material it is applied to.

    Nut splitter

The body is not the problem. It's the cutter that is the problem. It is very hard material that contacts a flat on the nut. Needs to be perpendicular to the nut.

Do you cook a good steak?

We do not eat steaks, and I do not remember when I last had one. Best we ever had was when my uncle slaughtered a bull and did some tri tips for us. Very delicious. Only thing close was some Kobe beef steaks in Japan. Everything else was garbage.

How To Flush & Change Coolant?

All diesels that I've owned (6) have had engine block coolant drains a little bit above the oil filter. Some have had plugs in the thermostat housing you can remove to help to drain the coolant (the JD 4010 would not drain at all until I took that one out). Many drain completely from the...

    Starting Fluid

If you're using 15w40 oil, it'll reduce cranking speeds with a cold engine as much as 60-70%. However, working glow plugs or preheat of the incoming air is needed for an instant cold start.

I'd check/replace your glow plugs or other preheating device it has. Our 1983 240D Benz that we kept for 25 years needed to have a couple glow plugs replaced at somewhere around 150k miles. All diesels we've ever owned only require about 1/2 turn of the crankshaft hot or cold to start if...
