2305 Curtis cab

Actually canceled the order. I'd pay that kind of money if they could get it to me before the real cold comes, but that's a lot of cash for a 6 week wait. Maybe next summer. Thanks all for your input though.

I think you'll find it was worth the wait.

Just cleared my driveway for the second time today with the cab/heater on. Temperature hasn't gotten lower than the high 20's F, and we've only gotten about 6" snow, but now, instead of dreading the ordeal, I actually look forward to it!

I agree with Chipsndust, the cab put the fun back in clearing the 400 foot driveway. I too, have done it twice today and will be out a 6 am doing it again. Just grin when I go over to the outlaws place and do their drive way, seeing everyone bundled up with their snow blowers and I go by with my cab.....and a light jacket on...

Hey I'm still on board, I just don't want to wait that long. If anyone knows of a dealer w/ one in stock, PM me. From my calling around though, it doesn't seem like anyone (including Curtis) stocks anything.

Arrived today, woo hoo! Heater didn't make it, but I've got stuff to keep me busy installing the cab for now.

Labrat or anyone else who did this - how did you route the snowblower chute deflector cable into the cab?

Thanks!

I never use the brakes so I ran the cable through the hole in the floor and clamped it to the brake petal.

I have a 2320 but basicly the same cab style, I removed the plastic glass on the left hand side, this was where I also put my heater, so that I would have less "stuff" in the way when I get out of the cab. I also lowered the heater a few inches so that I had room for the cable chute deflector. I thinks that I used 3/16 plate or whatever was the same thickness as the acrylic window it was replacing. I then painted it JD Green and installed it. Looks factory original!:D

bigtiller and others with cabs and heaters....To get just a little hotter water coming to heater. I bought some Pre-Slit Rubber tubular pipe insulation.and covered both lines from side of tractor upto the heater.
If it keeps lines from freezing and Air cond lines coming into your house cold. it should help keep the antifreeze warmer going to the heater.. I never tried mine before I wrapped them. ,but the other evening it was 18 above and I was sweating with a sweatshirt on, a spring type outer jacket ,no gloves. and a JD hat.

Just my 2 cents

Merry Christmas.

Have fun and be safe !!

The coolest mine has been was 45 degrees inside the cab. But that was after dark in the middle of a blizzard. That is when that pic was taken. 12 degrees and sustaned 30 mph winds gusting to 45 mph.

I like my cab!!

Pics so far. That floorboard bolt on the right hand side of the tractor is a pain when you have the diverter valve kit installed. I might just take the easy way out and put the bolt in upside down so the nut is on top.

Thanks for the input on the blower cable guys. Merry Christmas!
