Good deal, JJ. Sounds like a real nice rig. Congrats.

I just finished doing a bunch of snow plowing with the 2520 and I did use high range for some of it. This was with a front blade and 800 lbs of ballast in the box on the rear. The extra rear weight did wonders for traction, particularly since my tires are not loaded.

High range worked well enough until I got to the real heavy stuff, then I switched to low.

Can you give an estimate on how deep the snow was you were able to plow in high? Wet or dry fluffy stuff? Just curious--as I said, plowing is the task I see wanting to do most in high.

WHAT! NO BH?:D
Wishing you luck. I am sure you'll be happy, never look back.

I wish. :) However someday in the future, the wife would like to add an in-ground pool. If that day comes (she says WHEN that day comes :) ) I'll probably look at a BH purchase. Don't know though, haven't looked at the specs on the BH to see if it'd be capable of digging a hole deep enough for an in-ground.

John, that is one heck of a good deal!:):)

BTW,dealer finally received my tractor yesterday. Probably ready for delivery by mid week,I would guess. I don't want to take any vacation time this early in the year,so I'll ask that it be delivered Saturday. I waited 36 days, what's a few more:rolleyes:

Greg

That's awesome Greg. I wish the dealer had a 2720 in stock like he had the 2520.

From the other post you put out on another thread, I think you did pretty well on your deal as well. I think probably a bit better than I did on my 2520 deal, but I am trading so it's always kind of hard to tell for sure.

Did you decide to do a front blade?

I look forward to seeing pics of the new toy!

Congratulations. Sounds like a great package.

RE: the Imatch / Ballast Box - you'll probably need a bushing kit to make it fit properly and one for any other 3 pth implement. The bushings install with spring pins, so it isn't very convenient to move from one implement to another.

If the dealer didn't mention this, see if you can get at least the first set included.

Good decision, you will be so happy with the 2720.

Did you decide to do a front blade?

Hello John,
In order to get the plow, I have to see if its possible to get the 48 mo. at 0% instead of 36 mo. I already added a few things since the initial order and the "boss" said I don't have alot of leeway with the monthly payment:)
