While talking to my dealer the other day he made a recommendation that may be of use to others. He had a customer that broke the bolts out of the upper 3PH lift arm housing. A very expensive part to replace. This happen while backing up and hitting a piece of concrete. The bolts holding the bracket on broke the housing. He was like many of us that have heavy duty back blades and box scrapers on our tractors. If you hit some thing hard enough something will break.
To help avoid this on a 27-2910 a heavy duty bracket can be installed. It's the same bracket that is installed when putting on a 4690 Backhoe.
I have attached a picture showing both old and new brackets. One on the right is original.
