I still need o get some of the fluid film, when I'm out I never see it so I don't think about it. When I do remember I'm no where near any place that has it.

You could always have your wife write it on your forehead with a sharpie.

Most John Deere dealers carry it in spray and gallon cans. The spray is not cost effective and tends to clog eventually.

The bulk gallon cans can be used to refill little oil pumper containers. They used to sell a manual squirt can but haven't seen it for a few years. Brushing it on or with a rag also works well. It is great for guns, too.

It is not cheap but it goes a long ways.

I've also seen it in some independent hardware stores and a even a few ACE stores.

Thanks for the info, John Deere around me has pretty much disappeared, I believe the closest one left is about an hr away. At one time I thought Deere was all done the way they closed up all the shops around here.

Walmart sells the spray cans, or at least they did. I'm not sure if they all do but you could probably get do the ship to store option or ask them to get some for you but you'll probably have to get a case of 12. I have a tube of Bee's wax for drilling and putting lube on sheet metal screws. It's a paste that doesn't attract much dirt and seams to repel water pretty well. I think I just turned this into a what type of oil thread, sorry.
