I have heard it being tossed around that the new 3015 Mahindra has been turbo charged. All info I have obtained on the Web does not elude to such a monster. If it is indeed turbo charged could someone enlighten me as to the benefit of the turbocharger on such a machine. Is the torque noticably greater. I have been under the impression that the turbo has a negligable affect on over HP. Any affect on efficiency? Maintenance? Thanks.

Not being much of a tractor guy, I am unable to comment on whether the turbocharger has a significant affect on the overall performance.

However, I will confirm that my 3015 does have a turbo charger on it.

IMO, it is one more thing to fail. If it was needed to get the hp or epa, well ok. But my understanding is they turboed the same 30 hp motor they had before.

The new 3015 has a turbo i was told it was just a change to improve the performance of the unit . The engine does not appear to be the same engine as before and the unit seems to have more torque than before. The new spec sheets should be out soon but the tractor is still a 30 hp unit.

NOw that the turbo has been confirmed,is there now a corresponding jump in price or is it negligable? BTW is the a more indepth spec sheet on the 15 series other than the sparse one given on many web sites. I have been researching these machines a bit as my father is interested but not willing to spend the $$$ on one of the big three. Can anybody answer these tow questions??? Is there a substantial FEL frame still attatched to the machine with the loader off as for example some of the Kubota sub 30hp machines? Secondly how does one operate the DSCV's with the loader off? Thanks.
