3320 - Day One

Killer-b , that is a very nice tractor. your going to really enjoy that.

I can sure tell you about the ropes..
I have had my tractor 7 months. and always remembered to fold them.
But 2 weeks ago , i was in a hurry and... well i forgot....
fortunatly i was just ideling. but still smashed the gutter...

So the bottom line is ( Remeber to fold the rops )....

Yep--I've got a tennis ball on a rope that hits me in the face everytime I go in the basement of the barn--nice reminder to check the ROPS.

I had a Fasse diverter on my 2520. This setup is all Deere. I found it when looking through the options. Two sets of outlets on the rear, flip a switch and the joystick operates them. If my wife will let me borrow her camera, I'll get a pic.
I wanted top and tilt, and this was required. It cost too much for me to get the top and tilt at this time, but I'm setup for it. JC

Any info you could give such as part numbers, prices, and photos would be MUCH appreciated.

I copied this off the "build your 3320" page. It is under accesories. The diverter kit had a "bundle" number lbv25507. This is all hardlines that connect close to the loader scv's and runs to the back of the tractor. It mounts just on top of the 3rd scv bracket. I'll get a pic in the morning. JC

I hope that in return I will get no leaky seals, flaky rockshaft valves, foggy instrument clusters, schizophrenic fuel gauges, etc.

For whatever it might be worth, I got 3 out of those 4 issues with my 3520. ...still hoping to avoid foggy clusters

I purchased a 2320 and after mowing for a few hours on STEEP hills called the dealer. The tractor lugged on the hills. Ended up with a 3320. The e hydro is fantastic. Had the same issues with the Rops pins. I have a 3/4 drill bit--that did the trick. I greased the holes to keep them from rusting.
It is a LOT bigger than the 2320.
Only have 10 hours on it so far.
The drive over deck on the 2320 is much easer to get on off.
Found out that one of the brakes does not turn the cruse off. Had a real close call with the wife痴 car. Now I lock the break pedals together.
Looking for a Thumb for the 447 backhoe.

I have 13.9 hrs. on mine. It's absolutely dreamy to run. Smooth, powerful and handsome.

It took a little over 11 minutes to remove the deck the first time, going step by step through the manual. It seemed like a somewhat complicated procedure. However, it only took a little over 7 minutes the second time, and seemed rather straight forward.

I'm not a tractor cheerleader type. But I do have a JD coffee mug and hat now. Guess I'm almost a convert.
