OK
I don't use this method on higher voltage than 12V.
And your method is perfecly fine for a 12 volt system, dunno why anyone is getting on you:confused:

I'ts simple actually, 12 volt system /dead short.........which means one side is hot, the other is ground.
Dunno how they wire things in other countries, but they been doing it that way here for as long as I can remember.
All one needs is a simple 194 bulb for a test light, or a short finder.
I been using them for years.

Hanson, I found the orangemika ebay store and see they have hundreds of different kits. Do you recall the exact kit you used?

Hanson, I posted earlier in a light thread about the same color issue. In one of the pics I posted, you can see where it was protected (still purple) versus exposed to the sun/UV (light blue). :)

I want to wire an auxilary light & dedicated switch off the rear of my Jd3720.

Which wires can I use?

Which fuse should I use?

Thanks
