3320 vs 3520 & hydro vs reverser

Your comment on the drive bone connected to the drive bone. makes me think about screw type jacks compared to hydraulic jacks. The hydraulic jack uses fluid to transfer the forces while the screw jack doesn't and I find the hydraulic jack is easier to use.

There's probably someone out there who prefers the old school approach of a stick and a rock.

That would be the MANLY WAY to go.

Us ehydro users though would rather have electric leveling jacks such as used on larger rv's.

FWIW, I have a 3520 PR and I love it. I occasionally drive my neighbor's 4320 with eHydro as well, and I actually like both. The hydro is nice for most tasks, but those that think the hydro is better because it is more precise either haven't spent much time on a PR to actually make that statement or just want to endorse the hydro. Don't get me wrong, I really like the hydro so I am not knocking it. However, I have just as much control and precision with my PR. I load my dump trailer regularly and in order to get a close to center dump, I have to get within an inch or two of the trailer wheels which I can do quickly and accurately with the PR. Haven't hit the trailer yet. :p

Now get me on our 820 and holy cow, talk about a 180. I would never attempt to load the trailer that way with it as I know I would hit it.

Jeffster,
I know what you mean about the 820, I like mine in the open but it is no fun in tight quarters.:)

As Rosanna Rosanna Danna sez.....it's always something! ;)

I read this entire post to see if anyone commented about this remark... I'm guessing very few if any know Rosanna Rosanna Danna. I'm also guessing you and I have both spent many late Saturday Night's with her!!!

Gilda Radner...reason nobody posted is because we all knew who she and Rosanna Rosannadana were...well, at least those of us who watched SNL straight (well...sorta straight).

Sheesh...must be a newbie!
Hahhaahhaahahahaaahah

I also suggest upgrading to a CX loader.

The 3320 will be fine for what you want to do, power-wise.

The better brush guard, CX loader upgrade, a TNT setup and a canopy would be my suggestions for accessories that will really make a difference.

I have both an eHydro and a geared tractor. I would go with the eHydro.
Pushing the cruse control button is easier than setting the throttle on a geared tractor, so I see no advantage for PR as far as convenience, with row work. The constant PTO speed, regardless of ground speed is a really nice advantage.
You do loose a little bit of power to the hydro, but as stated, you will run out of traction first.
It is really sweet to have when doing loader work
