A few more shots of the home perched on the rock bluff. Also some interesting perspectives looking up one of the walls and what the outside corners look like from directly below. They are cool.

These are a few shots of the electrical and plumbing they have started doing. Looks like they just started since that's all there was to show. Also some framing inside the 2nd floor of the closets in the loft area by Wesley's room. We are making a couple minor changes up there.

I wanted to include a couple photos showing the what the weather was like this weekend. It rained cats and dogs during some parts and the previous week days too. Our camp survived nicely with the improvements we made. It was dry as a bone and gave us a nice shelter during the storms. The repairs we had to make were well worth the effort.

The middle two photos are about 3 hours apart of the same view of Blossom Peak in the background. A view of the tree line bordering the river that shows the Autumn colors running through the valley.

These are on the way home crossing the Grapevine on Interstate 5. It started to snow pretty good up there. A perfect ending to a great weekend in sunny So CAL.

Hi Tom,
I do all the road maintenance with my boxblade by tilting it severely like this for cutting deep gutters. When I added the hydraulic side tilt cylinders, I got them extra long and VERY heavy duty so when the box is tilted like that, it cuts deep or lifts one side of the tractor up.

I do this mostly going forward pulling the tilted boxblade, but there are times I do the same in reverse where I bulldoze a gutter into a meadow off the road. It makes a huge difference on the dirt road shedding water and reducing ruts on the road itself. I still need to get my road down to the hard DG underneath though. Some areas are better than others.

Rob,

I really like that set-up. I need one just like it.

The house and barn is looking good. I am a little jealous about the barn being ready about the time your house is. I won't be able to start on my barn/workshop till Spring.

Rob, if it makes you feel better I have Roadrunner also and notice the same thing yesterday. The day before that something happened and I lost connection and had to reboot the modem to get back online. I think they are just having a bad week.

You house is looking great though, please keep posting (as long as RR lets you that is)

Thanks guys,
I thought posting some other stuff associated with building the home would be of some interest. The box blade sure has come in handy for me. I've done all kinds of things with that tool.
Robert,
My connection is still screwed up and I re-booted the modem too. You're right, they're having a bad week for sure.
Hey, did you ever get the card from Muhammad, Robert and myself? Glad to see you are feeling better.
