Solved the problem for now by removing the tool box and its bracket.

I don't mind using 5 gallon cans to fill my tractors. The fuel is always fresh!

Incidentally, I was able to buy some oversize, non-vented, after-market spouts for my cans that make the process much faster. They arrived by USPS today.

Will probably put a tool box in the back of my pick-up since the truck is always at the same location as whichever tractor I'm operating anyway…

I realize its an old thread, but if you still have the bracket on the shelf, we had the same problem, I flipped it upside down and mounted it on the right hand side. I just had to drill a couple new holes in the bottom of the toolbox to remount it. Sorry I don't think I have a photo of it anymore, we traded that tractor. I also used it to hang/store my chain and I just bungeed the bottom to the loader hoses to keep it from swinging around.

Do you have the part number of that toolbox bracket? I would love to buy one to add to my open station, since my tank is behind the seat I don't have the issue with the filler and I also use 5 gallon cans to fill up.

They should make them for free. That's how the Gov't works. They get free money. ;)

WoW! That box ( post #14 ) looks just like the next to worthless one behind the seat of my Kubota. I guess I'll just learn to love it and not chuck it. It does hold my roll of TP and my dibble wrench.

Pic of your box and for sure, a pic of the "dibble wrench". Know what a dibble is, but not a dibble wrench.

Toolbox and dibble wrench - OK. It's going to take me just a short while. Chance to get some new pictures.

Finally - some pics. The dibble wrench is used for the final match-up between the implement and my 3-point system. Shove the dibble all the way thru - pull it back out - the hitch pin should go thru easily. Dibble wrench - Klein Tools.
