5140m QA question

Does anyone know if the loader on my 300DTC,which is a 5140m QA, is the universal type.I want to buy some attachments for it but am finding all QA's plates are not the same Deere for one.For instance, some of the vendors say "will fit all universal and skid steer QA mounts".Right now just looking for QA pallet forks.

Yeah, that loader is the QA universal set-up. Any forks that work on a bob-cat or any other manufacturer's QA plate will work (although I do think Kubota's set-up is different). Anyway, it shouldn't be hard to find forks for them, they go for around $850.00 just about anywhere down here, not sure what they are bringing up your way.

On a side note for all you FarmTrac guys be carefull when "locking" your QA plate back in place, I was swapping a 300DTC yesterday from the bucket to forks and wasn't paying attention to what I was doing and broke the roll-pin that holds the lock arm onto the lock mechanism...not a happy camper...it had been a long day already and that didn't make it go any smoother!!
