I agree but they are $$ and do not last very long. The total surface area cleaned is very low compared to the life of a wire brush.

I use the scotchbrite things too, they are amazing for paint rust, everywhere you might have used a wire wheel or light sanding disc. Roloc discs also extremely useful. Local welding shop has two kinds of scotchbrite disc, for $12 and $17. Would like to find a cheaper source.

Are you saying you can't take it apart? If it was assembled ..... It can be dis-assembled ........ Unless the case was welded? Not likely?
