Before I blocked all calls except on caller list, I was getting so many spam calls...like my brother is in jail. I kinda miss messing with them actually. I told them to keep him in jail, that’s where he belongs. Got one about my car being i
used in a robbery, i told them that’s impossible, I had the car destroyed right after that job. No proof.

when I get real bored, I might take my phone off of do not disturb. Some idiot texts me every day, a different phone number every day, telling me my car warranty is going to expire soon. Hard to block spam texts though. end up having to spend my time deleating them. Fing spammers

i must have 50 messages a day in my spam email box. Kinda wonder why they bother. The email provider catches maybe 95% of them.

My goodness. Craziness these days.

My credit card company caught some bogus charges to my account today.

They denied the charges, canceled the card and are FedEx-ing another to arrive tomorrow.

They are pretty darn good at spotting fraudulent charges.

I guess the seller takes the hit on non-payment?

If they don't get all of the pertinent information, the seller should take the hit. Somebody used my card # to buy a $90 gift card at Macy's. That company got stuck because they didn't have the 3 digit security code on the back. I still don't know how they got the number; the card stays in my truck which had been locked up in the driveway all week, and I only used it to get gas on my way to visit my parents.

Had one diet supplement charge that kept coming back even with replacement cards with new number.

Mom said it was no risk but you had to cancel within so many days.

Someone called from far away yesterday to offer me "New Home Warranty" on my House. Told her it was built in 72. GREAT she said. Said I wasn't interested.

That's about the same as a Geico commercial. I did try them once. Their quote was slightly higher than what I was paying.
That was for half of the liability cap. And that slightly higher quote was for six months, versus a year for my current policy.
It also didn't include full coverage on my tractor.

What I meant was, we don't have a mortgage payment. Payed that off in 1996. Yet we keep getting these calls.
