I think that guy is a spammer. Notice he has been a registered member for over a year and his first post was just a sarcastic comment that added nothing of value to the thread. I see those guys a lot on another forum I am on.



I also just got an MT242HC and am working on an answer for you since it bothers me that my only remote is a detent when all my applications I use it for are momentary actions on my hay machines.
As far as I'm concerned non of the common import tractors or their domestic named counterparts have decent hydraulic valving. Not having at least one rear remote valve with float I find quite irritating, I often have uses for the float function and having to deadend a hydraulic system to work around the lack of a function bothers me.

I agree 100%! Most that buy the utility size tractors like this will never have a need for a remote hydraulic circuit. I feel that what they put on at factory level is the lowest cost option to make the sales flyer look good.
