<font color="blue"> I heard that hanging a plucked, dead chicken from your radio antenna will increase mileage.

Hey Alan,
Well, that would have a perfectly, logical explaination. As the Chicken, most probably, disrupted the air flow, in such a way, to make the vehicle slide through the air with less drag and air disruption, therefore giving the vehicle the ability to have more MPG. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
Which now, fully explains why, many in the older days, used Coon Tails on their Radio Antenni, and I fully expect for the same reason, for a much smoother running engine and much improved fuel combustion, therefore resulting in improved gasoline mileage. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
I am hopeful, that the poor people, in this country, do not ireprebly harm their internal combustion engines, by putting a harmful additive into thier gasoline tanks. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif Although, I am sure that there will be some or many that will surely do so, with the vehicles, winding up in the salvage yards or on a used car dealers parking lot, to be resold again. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
All jokes aside, anyone reading these threads, should not risk using their own personal vehicle's as an experimentation device to prove or disprove, whether the said additive ACETONE , will improve their engine's performance.
Get your tractors running &
Have a nice day,
Joe /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
