Congratulations on a great looking truck, I bought a 2015 2500 HD 4x4 with the 6.0 gas motor and absolutely love it, but I was told by several dealers that the 2500 gas version only came with the 4.10 rearend and 3.73 only in the duramax diesels. What year model is yours?

GM should give every man and woman a new vehicle for free in payment for the bailout.

I roughly figure the bailout to GM was worth about $40 per every US citizen of driving age.

I've also ready that only 50% of us actually pay any net Federal income taxes, so make that $80 for each of us that do.

Mine is a 2011. I thought you could get either the 3.73 or the 4.10 with the gasser but I'm not sure.

Mine is a 2011. I thought you could get either the 3.73 or the 4.10 with the gasser but I'm not sure.

You could back then I believe, they didn't change to 4:10 only until 2014 I believe. There is a list of codes inside the glove box that tells you what all equipment your truck has. I forget what the code is for gears but it should be on that chart.

That is why I won't ever own another GM product. This being said after 3 Pontiacs, 1 Chev 1/2 ton, 1 Cadilac and a Buick.

Nice truck! I just turned 11k on my 6.0 and getting15 but with 4.10. When it drops into 4th up a steep hill, pulling load, feels like there's no stopping it!
