Finally getting around to post some pictures of my diverter I installed on my CK20.
1st pic. Diverter and relay are mounted under left side floor board between FEL valve and rear fender.
2nd pic. Side view of tractor, tried to keep things as hidden as possible.
3rd pic. This is the opposite side where the line tee's to the front/side and the back outlets located just behind the tool box.
4th pic. This is my joystick switch. I used a relay as this is a very light duty switch because of it's size and probably wouldn't handle the continuous on/off cycles of the solenoid.
5th & 6th pics. These are two different angles of the back remotes.
7th pic. Side remotes for controlling my 4' snow wing I built a few years back.
8th pic. Front remotes for my grapple I built this past winter.

Any questions, i'm more than willing to try and answer.

Steve

That looks great Steve,
What diverter is that...hard to see since you have it hidden so well!

It's been so long, I'm not positive but I think it is Hy-spec. There sold at Princess Auto in Canada. I got it on sale for $190 canadian. I think I spent more on fittings than I did for the valve.

Nice neat work. What fitting did you use on the FEL torque tube to secure the hoses? Any chance of a close up photo?

If you look at my photo you'll see why I am asking.:(

Why don't you just get a couple of standard bulkhead fittings and mount them in a simple angle bracket? Discount Hydraulic Hose sells the fittings.

Thanks guys, however: I cannot find the fittings in the Discount Hydraulics (Discount Hydraulic Hose.com) on line catalog and I don't (yet) have anywhere near the fabrication expertise that either of you do. Pineridge referred me to TSC and Pioneer fittings but those are not in the TSC on line catalog either. I live in a tractor deficient part of the country so I cannot run down to the local supply store for these things.

Island,
I searched for "bulkhead" at DHH and came up with several pages...

You can find them at DHH by selecting "NPT Bulkhead Couplings" from the "Brass Fittings and Adapters" main menu.

I think we are talking about different things. I can find the NPT fittings, I cannot find the braces or a way to securely mount my existing QC fittings to the FEL torque tube. I need something that functions like the piece of metal in the photograph below which is the stock factory brace for the QC fittings on the FEL post. I need something functionally similar that could be attached by welding or bolting to the torque tube.

Thanks

Ed

Well, I made my own from a scrap piece of 2.5" steel angle and welded it to the bucket support tube. You are probably going to have to go to the local hardware store and buy some metal and cut, bend and drill your own. Or you could find an old electronic case or stop by Radio Shack for a new one that has right angle bends and cut and drill it to fit what you want. For something like this you have to be resourcefull. I have never seen a generic one for sale.

I didn't do it properly with bulkhead fittings as they were hard to find locally as well in the 1/4" NPT size so I just used a 1/4" nipple thru a piece of 1/8" flat bar. I put the nipple in the Quick connect as far as it would go, measured the gap, then substituted a washer on either side to make up the gap that was left. It works fine and doesn't leak. I drill a hole thru the crosstube and bolted on the flat bar. Did the same for the rear and side remotes as well. So far so good. Here's a couple of shots of the front remotes.

Thanks guys. That makes more sense. I thought there was a supplier out there somewhere with a variety of brackets. I'll work on a fabricated solution. I was a bit leary of welding on my FEL torque tube given the pending warranty fix with Kioti but I think I'll go ahead now.

When I installed my rear remotes I made the bulkhead fittings myself the same as Steve did, using NPT ells threaded into the Quick Connects and then washers to take up the slack and tighten on the bulkhead. It has worked well for me too.

Nice job Herringchoker. Also, I like your homemade cab. I think you may be the only guy on TBN with wall to wall carpeting in his tractor.:D
