Hi Guys, my PT grapple bucket is mad at me because it has to share the number one slot in utility, power and overall me liking it with an intruder: the lacklander baby boomer backhoe.
i was able to dedicate most of the afternoon to the operation of the hoe WITHOUT THE RED BOTTON. I dug up a bed of bushes and trees at my ex that had been cut down. but she wanted them also removed not just stump ground. some of the roots were so deep i had to fully extend the hoe to cut the vertical roots.
what a power house the invert (picking up stuff) curling motion has for just a pt 425 kohler eng. and that small piston on the hoe.
Yes it was annoying with that auxiliary lever but you get used to anything after a while. the motion is not that of a professional backhoe operator but i am glad that i do not have to hand dig much anymore with this new to.. attachment.
Other use, is the boom action attains higher heights. after you practiced for a while go ahead and load your pick up, but get a bigger bucket than 8" other wise your loading will take a while. the two teeth on the bucket are excellent and so is the thumb. i am satisfied with my purchase.
the large plate that randy puts on and then welds the pt female quick attach plate onto it is somewhat obstructing the view .. i guess i have to install another camera and screen to have at least 21 degrees vision ... i know you guys think i am nuts ... a well .. so be it.
