Another New Virus

Just another reminder to everyone to keep your antivirus software up-to-date. I got an e-mail this morning that Norton AntiVirus says was just discovered on 11/24/01. I think (not sure) that it came from one of our members who probably doesn't know his computer has it. You can read about it at http://www.symantec.com/avcenter. It's called W32Badtrans.B@mm, so I'm sure a lot of you already know a lot more about it than I do.

Hey Bird,

Just an FYI. I was finally able to get my problem straightened out with Symantec. After going back and forth on their ridiculous email help site, customer service sent me a new account # that apparently fixed my expiration date problem. I'm just glad that I wasn't trying to get this to take care of any virus I had on the computer./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Jeff, glad you got the problem straightened out. When I got that e-mail this morning and saw that it came from "Jeff", my first thought was that it came from you, but the last name was different./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
