Tobacco is a "deadly substance?" Who writes this stuff?

I think a private drone would be cool to fly over my own property. I think the new perspective would be beneficial. I could see farmers checking crops with them. Wildlife monitoring might be less disturbing than in-person visits. Large building inspections. With an infrared camera, they could look for heat. There are really many things they would be legitimately useful for.

Black Leaf 40

A deadly insecticide banned in 1992. 40% Nicotine.

Did you have geometry in school? And if so how much do you remember? Do you understand measuring the angle of elevation with two observers on each side of the object at a known distance apart? To form two angles of a triangle. Now bisect this triangle with a vertical line from the object to the ground . Solve the right triangle for the height of object. If you know the height or slant distance (hypotenuse) you can estimate the size by observing how many degrees of arc the object subtends. Again looking at an object in the blue sky with no frame of reference. It is impossible for the observer to judge the size of the object unless you can judge the distance to the object. Were you able to get a second observer to run out directly under it and if so how far was he from you observing from the side? Do you see where I am going with this?. I think of myself as a very coherent person, I never do drugs and rarely ever drink. I do rember quite a bit of Euclidean geometry And the rest I can look up. I also spent some time as a deputy sheriff and in general terms most people make extremely poor observers of any event and I have some practical experience with people observing aerial phenomena in particular. I have a story or two you might find very amusing.

Salmonella in a roach coach chicken sandwich is a "deadly substance" too. Would the writer say the lunch wagon was transporting a "deadly substance?" I thought the use of the term within the context of the story was a reach.

Thanks for posting! I had read that RC spraying was getting common in Japan and has been for several years.

I wonder how difficult they are to control/fly with the remote? I'm pretty sure I need one of those.

Oh kay...you missed my humour, I apologize for questioning your logic. But, in all seriousness, I was close enough to use adjacent trees and a neighbors house to guess at the size. This is a serious machine, picture a small cessna without a pilots cockpit, and skinnier. Thanks for your input.

Aha!.. you do have a frame of reference.. Ok. cool. you made me type out all the Euclidian geometry stuff huh?:D:laughing:... Ok.. so what is this dang thing? And have you been able to get any pix of it yet?
