Front-End Loader any use for a Boom pole? after having a FEL.

I've got all the pieces cut and have one end-fame welded together. However, 12 inches of snow and sub-zero temps put a halt to my work in my unheated shop. Anyway, here's what I have so far.

The top is 53" x 60" x 3/8" thick treadplate steel. I'll mount it with the smooth side up with a 4" overhang on all sides. It will have two 1/8" sheet steel shelves below (you can see the steel standing up against the wall behind).

As you can see, lousy welds. I'm trying to learn how to use my new Millermatic 211 and these are the first welds I've done with it.

After drinking all that coffee you should be able to stand the cold. All kidding aside that is the beginning of a nice project.
