Anyone having issues posting pictures?

Generally never had issues posting pictures, before and after the forum format change.

However, now when I go to drop in a image from the computer, for a millisecond, it looks like the image "dropped" into the image box (where to move it to for a download), but then it blanks out, and at the top it reads "couldn't find that", and the image won't take at all.

I had this problem before, didn't really care about it, and about a week later, I could post an image and thought it just may have been the "computer Gods" at work. Thing is, tried to download a pic yesterday and today (and even for this post), but again, no luck downloading the image. I've tried jpg and png files to no avail.

Anyone else having this issue?

What I've done in the past...

1 - click on "insert image" (next to the smile to the left and the paperclip at the top toolbar)
2 - I can try to drop the image into the image box or select the image file, and the same issue happens as described above.

Any recommendations?

Testing:

Dropped it OK on my computer and Chrome.

I usually use click here and select the picture:

And that just worked also with the picture above ^^^.

I haven't had any issues but I use Linux and simply use the "Attach files" at the bottom and find the directory on my computer.

Well, it looks like it will let me "reuse" attachments that I had downloaded in the past...

I been having trouble every since they updated the forum a few months ago. I can’t upload more than one picture per post or or it puts it in a dead attachment link. If someone quotes a post with an image it goes in the same dead attachment link.

Hmmm. have you tried a different Browser? It seems like the problem is on your end, like the
browser and operating system aren't playing together?

Since day one, been using safari on my Mac. After they had the forum layout change, didn't have an issue at first, why I didn't think it was the browser. I'll need to try Chrome.

Now on Chrome as a browser. Let us see how this works out...

Nope, for whatever reason, would not download.

Go figure...

Setting for your firewall maybe? New site so need new permissions?

Go figure...

You may want to try to update Safari if available or remove it entirely and re-install. I think you would lose all your bookmarks however.

Can’t view pics on the iPhone app since yesterday.

I couldn't post pics for a while and the site barely worked. At first I blamed my VPN, but other sites worked fine. I tend to leave my browser open between 'sleeps' vs shutting down & restarting per session. Closing and restarting my browser must have cleaned out the cache or I don't know what, but things are fine again. btw, I only use my computer for internet so no idea what apps do .. or not.
