Chuck, are front weights needed when using the BH70x on the B2630?

If you are going with one of the new B2x20's, I'd stick with the Kubota BH65 as it is designed to match up perfectly with those machines. Putting the Woods BH70X on those machines would be kind of like putting the Woods BH6000 on the BX24 instead of the Kubota matched hoe. Although you can't get the BX24 without the hoe, it is a similar scenario.

If you are going with the B2630, then either the BH75 or BH70X would be the way to go, though the Kubota hoe is bigger and more powerful. The BH75 should be heavier than the BH70X, and only the FEL is required for either backhoe - there shouldn't be any need for additional weights up front. You do get a curved boom and factory thumb bracket with the Woods hoe, and it is about $600 cheaper.

Now, you can only finance Kubota & Landpride implements at the Kubota promotional rates, so the dealer has to combine the promo rates with Kubota's implement rates for a slightly higher overall rate if you were to go with the Woods hoe. It still may end up cheaper over the life of the loan, but you'd have to calculate how much that scenario cuts down the $600 savings.

Is the BH65 Hoe that comes with the new B's a curved boom hoe? From the pics it don't look like it.

I'd be shocked if you could put the 70x on at this point. It typicaly takes woods a few months to build mounts once a new machine becomes available.

Would i be correct to assume the current B2782 front blower will mount up to the 20's?

I'd be shocked if you could put a Kubota backhoe, or MMM on right now!

What a difference a day makes. Boy am I quickly souring on the new B2920 based on some preliminary pricing. :(

I thought the price needed to fall smack dab in the middle between the BX24 and the B3030 TLB version. It does have a number of 'shortcomings' that make the B3030 TLB a far better value and a far superior machine at only $2k more, IMO.

If these figures prove to be the norm, I think Kubota missed the boat on this new TLB offering.

What are the dimensions of these new machines? Particularly width.

I just got a quote for a 3030 TLB with all the trimmings (Snow Blow, BB, RB, Tiller) and its a tight fit in my garage space. thx

Overall width with r-4's or Turfs is 49". Overall length w/o 3pt is 95". The wheelbase is a couple of inches longer than the old B7xxx series, but I'm guessing that if one of those would fit, the new ones would too.

Hi all. Sorry to report I did not have my camera with me today... but I did get to sit on a new 2320 on the showroom floor. :D Awesome machine. I had a stress test at 10:00AM and since I was coming off of last shift I thought I'd stay up and spend some time at the nearby Kubota dealer. I must say I am not as familiar with Kubota's line up as many of you guys are. But, this is one great machine. With a loader, I think LA 304 mid 15's. The dealer said it would/could be a few months before he got the new 2620 and 2920. I liked the new loader lever control mount beside the operator instead of in front and to the right of him. But, and maybe a small but, as I have never had a hydrostatic tranny. How do you guys like the toe/heel pedal on the HST? Where I work our fork trucks have the pedals beside each other and sometimes people get mixed up and go the wrong way. :( This heel/toe configuration would eliminate that but it just looks awkward. Like I say, maybe it's just me. I do like the idea of having a 3 speed hydro; but I don't know any of you who complained about the 2 speed on models like the 7610. (this was one model I was looking at earlier but felt a gear trany or a three speed hydro would be a better choice). I'm welcome to comments etc.

Also, the more I see a BX24 the more I grin. :D When I first saw the JD 2305 it looked like a riding mower on steriods and I never took it to seriously. But today, the 3rd time I walked by a BX24 with hoe and FEL for around 15 I was impressed. I'd like to see some bigger tires and clearece but then again that is why I was looking at 7610's and 2630's and the new models.

One last thing. With the hydro pedel and brake on the same side how does that work with independent rear brakes? I'm sure an operators manul would show me but I'd rather know about it before I sign anything. Oh yeah, the dealer told me they had 0% for 3 years going on and most of his models qualify for it.

Any feed back is welcome as I have no knowledge or experience with a HST tractor.

Thanks, EL.
