- (B2620, had BX22) Simplicity Legacy w/48" mmm
It is pretty easy to get used to the two small pedals for the hydro. The only time I had a problem was when I got back on my riding mower that has the two pedals side by side. I'm not a big fan of having the brakes on the same side as the hydro pedal, but it works. I found a few times I was in a position where I wanted to hold the tractor in position with the hydro while I set the parking brake, and found that difficult. It is easier on the B series than on my older BX.
Often we are doing things behind us on the tractor, and if you turn sideways in the seat, or are looking over your shoulder to monitor what is going on back there, you will find the hydro pedal set up on the B's to be very nice! Make sure you try it in the positions you would be in when actually doing things.
The JD 2320 is very similar in size, and price, and does have the pedals side by side, and the brakes on the other side if you find you prefer that.
The prices I'm hearing on the Kubota 2320 are higher than JD's prices around here, and the msrp for the backhoe is higher than it is for larger ones. (about $7200 with a thumb) I hope that street prices are actually more reasonable once they get out there.
Anyway! It's good to hear that they are showing up here, and there.
