Buying Advice B2920 or B3200

I would have bet that Land Pride had a 54" version, but I do not see it on their website. Woods does list one. I do not know the Woods line, but they tend to get good reviews from owners.
That's what I got with my B3200, no problems so far. Seems like a good match for the tractor.

I am very pleased with my B3200. It has scads of power. If you are doing pto work then hp is your friend.
As for the vibration issue I hardly notice it anymore and I swear it is less now then when new.
Oh did I mention it has loads of power.
Also you get a beefier loader with the B3200.

I have a B2920, and it is great for finish mowing three acres. If I had to brush hog 10 - 12 acres I would have probably moved up in size to a B3030 or B3200. I seriously considered the B3030, but the size was a little to big for the majority of the CUT stuff I need to do (and I don't need to brush hog 10+ acres).

If possible, rent the 2920 and brush hog your 10+ acres. Then you'll know for sure if it is the right machine for that job. My guess is that you will find it just a little undersized for the job if you are doing it regularly.

Thanks for the info. I don't mind taking a little extra time to brush hog the field with a smaller tractor, gives me more time in the seat and in the woods where I hunt. I think the 2920 will be good for the landscaping I want to do as well near the house...not to big. I'm already in touch with Barlows crunching numbers.

I have the B26 which is in same size as your looking but only 19.5 pto hp and use a 5 foot landpride brush mower on and it does fine I ussually mow in Med range and only thing that slows me down is real heavy grass like switch grass. In brush it does fine and will pull 6 foot finish mower.

If you don't mind taking your time, then I think you will like the 2920 :)

I agree that the smaller B is a great size for most projects, especially close to the house, finish mowing, etc. when compared with the larger tractors. My B2620 works fine with my 4' rotary mower, but I've never had a larger one on it so I can't speak to that. I've used it to work on my trails in the woods, and it has been great there too as long as I keep things in perspective, and don't start pushing on things that are just way too large.

Hi,
As I stated in a earlier thread, I felt I was just about at my financial limit with the B2920HST with FEL and 60"MMM. After a review of the B3200 price, I may be able to swing the extra for the bigger tractor and FEL.

Question, I will use it for landscaping, brushhogging 10 to 12 acres of field with 5ft brushhog, finish mowing 2 or 3 acres, maintaining the remaining 50 acres for leisure and hunting. I have a 4 ft rototiller for garden and planting feed for deer and turkey. My land somewhat hilly, but not terrible. Can anyone see why I would need the bigger tractor? With all the woods, I still want to be nimble in the woods and felt the B2920 would fit the bill better as it is a little narrower. Thoughts and opinions? Thanks, this is a big purchase for me and I want to make the right choice.

What will this entail?

I'm sorry, I don't understand the question.

I'm sorry, I don't understand the question.

What will you be doing to maintain the 50 acres, bush hogging (how often), planting food plots etc., what is the makeup of the 50 acres?
