The easiest way to tear up a lawn with a tractor, is by trying to turn tight circles. If you mow straight lines up and down your lawn, this is not a problem. I don't live in the burbs, and don't care about a putting green lawn.gp1200x said:....I also liked the 2615 but the weight and size was just too much...I think it would rip up any lawn if you tried to mow a small yard with it. My tractor has become my riding mower for most of my property. The BushHog brush cutter does a very respectable job, and even without turf tires, I never damage the lawn. Of course, I don't mow when the ground is soft either.
