Tractor
Kubota B3200 w/ BH77 & 12", 18" & 24" buckets, Kubota B50 SSQA w/ 54" & 60" buckets, LandPride FDR1660, Artillian Fork frame, Extreme 3pt rake, Concrete Mixer, MyTractorTools grapple adapter
I was at my local Kubota dealer the other day and I was looking at the B7610 they had in their showroom (every now and then I think I should have gone a little bit bigger when I got my BX23) - well the salesman said that there is a 7610 replacement coming shortly - like in the next couple of months. I did some quick searching here on TBN and couldn't find any threads - has anybody else heard about this?

Anybody got any pictures?

Yes, I heard that as well. From what I have heard, the "new" 7610 will have the quick disconnect BH like the BX24. Rumored to be the BH65. Sounds about right. This would be a step up from the BX24 and right in between that and the B3030. Perfect for us who like the BX24 but want a bit more in the way of digging with the BH.

Too late for me, but it would be awfully nice if the 7610 replacement had Position Control. It would ice the cake. Any word on that?

As one who put 325 hours on mine, I would say the only things that tractor needs are:

1. Position Control
2. Hydrostatic Power Steering
3. A Suspension seat

Other (less necessary) plusses would be B3030 style lower links and a three range tranny. Round headlights and a cup holder would gild the lily very nicely as well.

Keep the clutch. Keep the exact same silky smooth 3 banger. Keep the beefy MMM without cheesy plastic pulley covers. Oh yea, and don't raise the price!

If that is true then I may be looking at trading in my BX23 - a tractor the size and with the capacities of the B7610 was what I was really looking for when I got my BX23 - but the subframe mounted backhoes that were available were a deal killer for me - with the subframe backhoe the 7610 had less ground clearance than the BX. And I don't need a tractor the size of the B3030 - too big for my uses.

My dealer said that it would be out in a couple of months - guess I will have to keep checking to see what shows up.

I would most certainly hold off on the BX24. I bought mine last year. I hope to trade it up for the new "7610" or whatever they call it. If the size is the issue, I would still hold off. There is word of an all new BX comming with 26hp and more pump flow. My dealer said it will have all the kinks out of it by the time it hits the dealers. The next few months will tell.

They decided to make a few more changes to this one, its going to be a long while before it ships.

Will the new 7610 come out after May 08?

What kind of time are we talking here, I've put off my BX24 purchase until I finish my windows and siding. I figure I'll be done around early November. By that time the soil may start freezing and waiting till the spring will drive me crazy over the winter.
I guess I'll have to buy a new Silverado, to satisfy my toy purchase blues.

Yea me too. I have been holding off myself but can't wait much longer. I am looking at the JD2320 as a backup. I would like to buy before it gets cold, but now its not sounding to good for the new 7610. I doubt they will be giving any 0% on them either as they may be too hot when they start arriving.
Anyone seen or heard from Chuck in NH, seems to be MIA? Hope all is well with him.

I too have been looking at the 2320 and 2520. Beware, they are two different tractors. Check out the raise/lower/dump times for the loader. Also, the 2520 has a dual pump system rather than a single one. The issue I have been struggling with. Currently own a BX24. Also, the JD's BH can not be attached with the mower deck on, The links need to be removed in order to add the BH, and the links need to be replaced in order to use the deck. I have heard the new 7610 will have the quick connect Bh similar to the BX24 and B3030. A much better set up than the Deere.

I wonder if a woods 70x 0r 80x will work with the deck on, those hoes are much nicer than the JD hoes?

i would check out the woods and see if it has a disconnect at the rear of the tractor. The JD does not have a frame so the supports need to go all the way to the loader brackets. The way deere does it makes it impossible to have all the attachments packaged for storage and/or transport. also the hoe has such a long frame, it is hard to store it.

Does the annual Kubota dealer's meeting begin tomorrow. If it does, then we should know what the new B7610 and B7800 and new BX replacements are tomorrow?

Stay tuned

I'm intrigued. What does the B2920 look like? Is this the B7800 replacement we've been hearing about? How does the B2320 differ from the current BX model?
