My Rhino came with the top link brackets because the backhoe is sold as a 3 point hoe, the subframe is an option.
Yes, most (if not all) of the 3rd party backhoe attachments are sold
as 3-pt hoes, where you buy the 3-pt brackets instead of the subframe.
Again using Woods as a first-hand example, the toplink hole is the same
for either mount.
The Kioti hoes, OTOH, are not sold as 3-pt hoes at all. Kioti's factory
reps tell me you must buy the subframe to use it on their tractors, and they
do not market the hoe for use on other CUTs.
It is very strange that the 2475 manual is mute on the issue of connecting
the toplink. It does not say do NOT use it. The factory reps told me
you SHOULD use it. This would not be the first time that one of the Kioti
manuals is less than perfect.
I want my hoe to be as securely mounted as possible, with the minimum
amount of flex.
