Backhoes?

Sounds like a deal to me. LOL

That's my major stumbling block. I want 4wd. A 4n1 would be great too... My main thing is 4wd. I see used machines all the time but none of the good looking ones are 4x4. The local highway dept. has a couple of the Terex machines now so they can't be all bad.

I did visit the dealership and got some Pics of 2 760B's. My computer's got a problem and won't work for more than about 10 minutes at a time so I'll wait to post them 'til probably next week when it's repaired. Nice looking tractors.

No biggie... No salesman around when I visited as it was late in the day and raining.

Real small dealer, their main biz is ditchwitch trenchers/excavators/mini hoes. They did have two terex rigs, one with a cab and one OROPS. Cab is roomy enough, if a little spartan, but it's not a limo I guess. /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

One thing that's a little weird, I see no mention of any quick couplers for the front or back. I guess that's some of the reason for the lesser price. I will want one for at least the front as I want some forks and maybe a brush rake.

I got to talk with a parts man that gave me some brochures and a card of the salesman for my area. Said they'd bring one up to try out when I was ready...

Most Manufacturers usually have couplers and hose kits out sourced. I know Huffman owned almost all Komatsu equipment and they used JRB Couplers. I havent got to get close enought to one to try it. Im still wanting one terribly lol.

Bad news. Somewhere in all my computer probs. the pics are gone.

I figured I could get one but didn't think to ask the guy when I was there. I forgot to say the rear buckets are gannon. I guess it's cheaper than shipping em here from England.

Ditch Witch Mid South is the name of the dealer.

I haven't looked at the Komatsu machines... Ever seen one?

I picked up a brochure at Case today while I was setting up an appointment for my powerstroke. They're also the IH truck dealer. They wanted about half of Ford's price for new glow plugs.

Next time I'm buying a little IH instead of a big Ford. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Scott I ran a new Komatsu TLB for about 6 months for a friend I think it was a 140? Good machines but heavy the loader arms are the closest Ive seen to a 780 Case's Loader arms. They are good utility machines for road work a bit heavier than what I need in folks yards. His had a quicktach up fron and one on the hoe and a few other attachment with quick plates. It spoiled me, Im trying to get loose to see a 760 this weekend if I get the Cab back on the Mack.

Sheesh! mountains of computer probs later I am back. Spyware producers should be shot.

Heavy is fine with me as most of my projects would be on our own places. I'll have to look into em. Four wheel steer would be great but would drive the price up I'd imagine.

You'll love the 760's rear boom. It's the narrowest I've ever seen.
