Just an update.
First bathroom done, very happy with the work. Still need to get a glass door installed shortly which will add to the cost.
However, what I find interesting is the box store did pick up the damaged vanity and counter top, then invoiced out for a new one which was just delivered.
I'm keeping a spreadsheet on costs with materials we picked up (I'm financing the remodel and want to keep a hard track of all money). What I found was that the box store screwed up and basically gave us a vanity for free due to their charge and rebill system. Needless to say, we told the box store about their mistake about issuing us too much credit (the credit and rebill were done before the replacement vanity was shipped). Manager was surprised we mentioned it LOL
Thing is, the box store still hasn't charged us for the second vanity and since informing them of their mistake. Am I in the wrong for not caring about if they don't want to fix their mistake (to our favor)? How far do you go to point out you owe someone money?
