What is it with people? Soon as they find out you have something they need they always want to borrow?
My first week at a new job. I ordered lunch from the Chinese place. I took everyone else's order and went and got it. (I liked getting up from my seat and going outside during the day.) Everyone orders General Tso's. I got Combination Mei Fun. Two guys are standing behind and over me staring/drooling. I'm like, "can I help you?" One guy gets a plate (!) and says, "let me try some." I replied, "um, no, I don't even know you." He just about threw a hissy fit and stormed away screaming, "and how am I supposed to know what that tastes like then!" Um, spend your own $5 you butthole!?!?!

The next day he blurts out to guy #2 "Skyco has a dump trailer! Didn't you need to use one too?" So now he's offering up MY trailer to people that haven't even asked....and I never said anyone could borrow it:confused:
Really? They call you "Skyco" at work? :D
I understand completely your frustration. I can't give you an exact transcript of what I might say to guy #1, but I'm pretty sure it would begin with the words "Listen, jack*** ..."

I'll let my stepfather borrow my dump trailer, because I get it back hand-washed. Coworkers, no.

Well Skyco is a stealth smokscreen name reserved for the internet:thumbsup:
The only people I let borrow stuff so far are my two sons and my father...and frankly they don't borrow stuff much at all cause they all know I'd rather just do whatever it is for them than loan them my stuff. We all win, they get the job done for them, and I don't have to worry about my stuff.
My wife asked why I continue to change the oil in their vehicles for them. I explained it is for self defense- cause when ever anything breaks I'm the one that fixes it anyway...so I like to keep up their maintenance for them, cheaper and easier in the long run:thumbsup:

Now that's a good strategy. I might steal it for the computers in the family... :)

A wise old man once told me: Never lend your tractor, chainsaw, boat, or wife to anyone.

Also add three things never to have or acquire...a pack of dogs, a boat to big to trailer, and a swimming pool. Opps...and possibly one more...a horse.

i saw this the other day and couldnt help but get a picture. This is another way to bend those ROPS if you happen to be driving under low clearance bridges.
