Bought a 2300!

When we speak of the wood's BH are we talking about the BH6000...cag

Im not saying one way or the other is better, Im just passing on some info I got from a local dealer concerning the MF/Woods combo. If he can put this combo together cheaper than he can get a 2310, maybe other dealers can also. That may save someone a few bucks and its good info for those that have a 2300 and want to add a BH or loader.

That would be the Woods BH6000. Even comes in matching red.

Havn't convinced my SO that we should lay out the $4500 but I'm workin' on it. She wasn't all that thrilled about buying the tractor in the first place, but after doing some landscaping this summer, she agreed it was worth it. You folks have got to stop this! The more you talk about it the more tempted I get. The 2310 wasn't out when I bought (at least not in the States) and I've been more and more tempted to nose around the backhoe end of things and see what the dealer can do. I didn't realize the Woods has a sub-frame. Now it looks like it could be a viable alternative to trading in...

</font><font color="blue" class="small">( I visited the MF dealer today to look at a 2310. He didnt have any and said they probably wont be ordering any more unless someone specifically wants it. Instead of ordering the 2310, they are ordering 2300s and installing Woods BH and loaders on them. He said he can put that combo together and sell it for about $900 cheaper than the 2310. He said it also helps him on all of his Woods products because the more they order, the better deal they get on their Woods products and can pass it on to customers cheaper.
The woods BH does have a subframe that ties into the loader frame, swivel seat mount and grill guard, MF red and is compatible with either Woods or MF mower decks. The Woods BH will also allow you to keep the 3PH arms on the tractor with small modifications (a little bending) of the PTO cover. The Woods BH and loader are warrantied for 1 year and the tractor for 2 years (I may be mistaken on the tractor warranty). I do know that he said that the Woods stuff doesnt void the tractor warranty in any way.
He has a price of $15900 for the 2300, Woods BH and loader. <font color="red"> I figure with a little haggling it could be had for $15500 easy. </font> )</font>
