box scraper instructions

I finally got my back hoe off (it needs to be LEVEL!!!) and spent yesterday mowing, and hit quite a few rocks and other foreign objects. Now I'm ready to try the box scraper and was wondering if there are some easy instructions for a novice using this beast. I've got 8.5 acres of (gently?) rolling rocky land and want to do some terracing and flattening here and there. Any tips would be appreciated by this total novice.
