wow, that is all the further your three point drops?

Are you sure that your three point level lever is not hitting some sort of depth control? sometimes these are thumb screws that limit how far down the control can go.

Ahh,, I now understand your post, it was held high and we were looking at what the arc would be. Woops a duh on my part!

my cobble job on the toplink worked. it gave me 2" of retraction and allowed the box scraper to be level.

scraper before cobble. note the scarifers are bascially floating on the ground

What hole do you guys have your toplink in on the tractor end?

i tried all the holes, but with the geometry and pivot of the scraper, the holes really didn't matter. the only way to change the angle was to shorten the toplink. as one can see, this helped immensely.

If you use the bottom hole it will tilt you blade forward quite a bit. Try that. Can you get a shot of three-point hitch with the blade the way it is?

the "before picture" was with the toplink in the bottom hole.

You know, in my naiveté, I didn't realize that you could lower the support arms by moving the vertical piece to one of the holes closer to the tractor on the lower arm. All this time, I was expecting it to be an adjustment of the vertical piece itself, like the way you can crank the right side support (I don't even know the proper names for these pieces...) up or down. I'll try the next lower 'notch' next time and see if that makes a difference...

The bottom links was what I was looking for.

That is a strange situation. On my tractor I can shorten the top link enough that the scarifiers are the only thing that contacts the ground (front of box tilting downward) or I can extend it to the point where the rear blade is almost like a scoop (front of box tilting upward). I just use the middle hole for the top link.
